I am a freelance writer and photographer and have been very blessed to have had my writing, photos, and cottage home published in American, Italian, and Israeli shelter magazines. Some of those publications include Cottage Style, Romantic Homes, Casa Romantica, Country Sampler, Artful Blogging, Where Women Create, Romantic Country, and Romantic Prairie Style.
I find beauty in the simple and joy in the moments. It is my sincere hope that by sharing my words and images here I can in my own small way inspire others to do so too.
Thank you very much for stopping by and leaving YOUR words behind.
Love,
Kim

Hello Dear Kimberly,
I have just found your blogs - and have been stuck in the beauty-full for at least 2 hours absorbing it all. We are kindred spirits (in the words of Anne of Green Gables), I love your eye for beauty, simplicity, the small things being the big things, your generosity of Spirit, and Heart, your love and care of the 'little peeps' ...duckies, doggies and everything in between. Thank you. Your home is an 'experience' in Grace and Beauty, and 'sings my song' - hence the Kindred Spirits. It has been a delight to enter your world for this evening, thank you.
Many blessings of love, sweetness, kindness and 'flying free' to you Kimberly,
Sally

Oh my goodness Kim, your blog is delightful.
I come to you via Rhoda at Southern Hospitality. She featured you quite some time ago and I often thought about your lovely cottage since. I must tell you, of all the homes I've seen by way of various blogs, it is yours that I would want to be mine. I also have two Dachshunds and share your taste in decorating. You're a lucky lady.

Hi Kim,
You probably don't remember me but I used to pass by your cottage every day on my way to Lake Morton to photograph swan cygnets and a winter snowbird (eagle) named Izzy. Keep up the good work!

Hi Kim - I've been reading your Blog for many years which I love love love! I too have a mini doxi, long haired red named Squirt - love of my life. My little Squirtie boy. So always love your pics and stories about Miss Gorgeous Maggie and Mr. Handsome Bentley! I enjoy all your photos so much and always feel I've visited your lake after your daily post. I recently assisted in the safe capture of a Canadian goose family on the 5th floor parkade rooftop of my office with relocation to a nearby lake. A chance at life. Thanks so much for sharing yourself and your family. I will always be your fan! xo

Kim, you are awesome, really! You are my inspiration for photography and styling. I'm a grandmother of 5, but really in my heart I am an impressionable young girl. I see your lovely photographs and I say to myself, "I can do that", but so far I haven't been able to capture the beauty that you do on a daily basis. I was a big fan of Daily Cottage and I love your new site as well. When I woke up this morning I thought I'm going to try to see things through Kim's eyes today. You are such an inspiration. Love to you and all your work. Diane Price
