It's been a while since I've picked up the paint brush. I thought maybe that I had "lost" what I only so recently had found. But Summer Lynn and her sweet, innocent spirit, inspired me today so I painted away.
And it felt good. :-)
Here she is hugging her Daddy on Father's Day ...
Rain or shine, Summer Lynn is always our sunshine.

Your painting is sweet and simple, Kim...just the way I like it!

What an adorable painting! It will always be a family treasure just like Summer Lynn is.
I'm home now from visiting family in your state and experienced liquid sunshine first hand. The mixture of rain and sunshine made for perfect weather.

That is a darling painting and you captured Summer Lynn perfectly. I knew who the subject was before I scrolled down to see the photo. What a sweet photo of her with her daddy, too. Precious.

Oh my gosh, you painted the red umbrella picture beautifully. I showed Jess the picture and she just loves her. :) This picture of dad and Summer Lynn is simply wonderful.
