Chelsea's shower was on Sunday and we had a Super Shower Ball! ;-)
Everything came together and I had the glorious help of several talented loves who I am so grateful for! The theme was Bohemian Bridal Flower Feast .... or something like that.
We had sangria, minted water, and sweet tea on the porch. There was "chick wine" at the wine bar and coffee in the kitchen. We had three little games. Everyone was given a silver bracelet with a white bow when they arrived. If they said "Chelsea" and another guest heard them they lost their bracelet to that guest. The guest with the most bracelets at present opening time won the prize. The guest that traveled the furthest - or is it the farthest - won another prize and the guest who was married the shortest won the third prize. I made 100 tissue paper flowers and guests took home the smaller ones as their favor. We had lots of food and there was raspberry chocolate trifle cake for dessert as trifle is Chelsea's favorite dessert. The frame I got at Hobby Lobby was too big for the photo that I enlarged of the couple so I added moss to it and draped ribbon over the gaps - propping the photo inside. Fake and real flowers married together nicely everywhere and made everything festive! Glassware from Goodwill served things up beautifully and the vintage hankies made us all happy. The bride to be wore a floral crown and the mothers of the bride and groom wore a floral wrist corsage. Chelsea's favorite songs played in the background and it was all so lovely.
And now I am off to take a nap. A long nap. A long and very happy nap.

Kim, this is such a beautiful party! I just love all the flowers and the colorful way you set the tables. I just hosted a baby shower two weeks ago. It's such a wonderful feeling to be able to do this for the young girls, isn't it? Made me want to have more showers. ;)

What a fantastically happy setting for Chelsea's shower. Everything was beautiful including the bride-to-be. I hope you were feeling much better by Sunday. After everything you did to make it perfect, you deserve a long nap.

A Bohemian Bridal shower, that's right up my alley, Kim. ;) Everything looks so nice, and I love the idea of letting the mothers of the bride and groom wear corsages on their wrist. I'll tell Jess about that for her shower coming up. That's nice that you gave a prize to the guest who traveled the farthest. So much good food and drinks, and Summer Lynne is precious looking like a Bohemian baby. Such a wonderful party, Kim, in every way.
love, ~Sheri

Everything was over the top gorgeous Kim! You put your heart and soul into making the shower so special and I know it blessed the bride-to-be and all the quests! Thanks for sharing the photos with us. Getting to see all the beauty of this Bohemian Bridal Flower Feast made me feel like I was there to share in all the goodies and excitement!

Your bridal shower was special just like you. I have been waiting for your pictures and I see "you" in every beautiful detail. My favorite - the way you used the vintage hankies. As I am now a senior citizen, I remember carrying a hankie in my purse as a child and it was also the first thing I was taught to iron. I know everyone was pleased with all the unique ways that you made this shower so beautiful and yet simple! And the icing on the cake, little Summer Lynn enjoying herself.
Hugs,
Connie

I was hoping there was a bridal shower here this morning, and there was! ;) How beautiful...heavenly, lovely, cheerful, soulful, just SO VERY you!!! Every little detail, so thoughtful. What a gift you gave Chelsea and everyone at the shower. And since hosting my first shower last fall, I know how much work goes into it all. You outdid yourself, but you always do and always for all the right reasons....love, beauty, joy, creativity. You are a gift and thank you for sharing your light, you are an inspiration!! Love you XOXO
