I think her Birdie might be a wee bit smitten with her, don't you think?
;-)
We had Summer Lynn for a few days while her parents went on a cruise. And yes we picnicked on the lake AND we did lots of other things that involved painting, singing, reading, swinging, tricycling, furniture moving, and grass blade picking.
It was the most wonderful of wonderful days. It was as if time stood still and I was reminded once again what the pure innocence of a child brings not only to a smitten grandmother's heart, but to the world.
Thank you SO much for letting me share her and for all of your Summer Lynn love.
We love you too.
Always,
Kim
Smitten grandmothers capture the best photos of their grands. Summer Lynn is a wonderful subject...interested in everything and adorable with an amazing wardrobe!

No doubt, you're definitely smitten with her! And who wouldn't be? She's adorable! And you're the most adorable grandma I've ever seen. Teach her your ways, oh wise sage. Get that girl to love what you love. You're already doing it, and what a special gift you are to her, dear Kim! What a special gift you are to US!

Words can't describe how special this child is, and then to see her in the midst of all the red roses, oh my. She looks so cute moving that great big furniture, and her smile is contagious - she has me smiling too. There is something about seeing a child painting a picture, experimenting with all the bright colors and using their imagination.......it says to me, "all is right with the world."
love, ~Sheri

Love her sweet expressions! I just love her clothing-the old fashioned innocence like my older grandaughter used to wear. Too precious for words! Does birdie make those for her :)
