It's Friday and it is SO beautiful outside and, to be honest, that is where I'd rather be! But Daisy Cottage is needing my undivided attention. She needs a serious cleaning and a whole lot of love fluffing. So I am spending the day today taking care of her but during my little lunch break, I thought I'd share these few pics with you. I know that not much changes in here as far as decor and y'all have seen these same views and things over and over again. I guess when you truly love what you surround yourself with and stay true to the colors you love, etc., change just doesn't seem to happen as much. Do you know what I mean? I am wanting to redo the little master bath soon - even if that means just painting it aqua blue, and perhaps get a few new pieces of furniture for the "granny room" but we shall see ... oh and I want a new dining room tablecloth as the poor black and white checked one is so so and I mean so very worn out and tired. I also would love a new curtain for the front door and I am thinking something floral. So more fun will come to Daisy Cottage's decor, that's for sure!
In the meantime though, I will enjoy being all over the place - in every sense of the way sometimes, and I think that is how it is meant to be in this season of life - at least it is for me. :-) I love loving so may things - and am truly so grateful that I do.
And Maggie and I are grateful for YOU too. I hope that each of you have a most beautiful and loving Mother's Day in all ways that are important to you.
Well, back to cleaning! I love you!
xo,
Kim
And that, among so many other reasons, is why I love you sweet Kim. When I visit I don't come away wanting to go out and buy, I come away want to fluff and love what I have and already love. You my friend are a true peach! I received my beautiful print and would love to send you a little something in return because it would please me to do so. Should I use the PO Box on the envelope or another address. Happy weekend my friend. xo, Patty

Please don't change Daisy Cottage too much! I know a girl gets in the mood to putter and change things around but your house is lovely. And that sweet little dachshund is perfect with the dining table. Your dachshund has more tan than our two do.
Happy Mother's Day to you!

So beautiful! I love each and every peek of your cottage.
Thank you so much for the images, Kim. I used two of the cards for Mother's Day. Framing the little baby ducks. ♥

Your home never gets old for me, Kim. You are THE queen of cottage living as far as I'm concerned. Your vignettes are so cozy and lovely. Please never think that it bores us. It doesn't! You don't! Much love and Happy Mother's Day a day late!

I really like aqua blue, Kim, and I have turquoise in my own bathroom. I think it will look lovely in yours. I know what you mean about loving what you surround yourself with; it seems that everything I buy has some sort of special meaning to me hehehe. Good morning Maggie, I love you so.

Catching up on all your pretties, Kim. Your love of color is always so inspiring to this tropical girl, who loves neutrals too but has to have a side of ZING with them. :)
So fun playing house. Enjoy, love.
PS-Visited your photography page again today. LOVE!
