I had a wonderful time at the lake this morning, shortly after sunrise. Papa Goose was happy to see me and ate a huge breakfast before going on his morning swim. The swans were beautiful, as always, and those that were on their nests were slowly waking up. As I made my way around the lake, I came upon a mallard family and was so excited to see three all yellow mallard ducklings for the very first time! They were so cute! On the way home I took some pictures of the tabebuias that are now in full bloom in the neighborhood. I love these flowering trees SO much! It's amazing how blooms happen at the perfect time, isn't it?
I hope you have a beautiful day my beautiful friends.

I don't have a thing blooming yet. Just the tops of tulips barely up. Oh, how I wish I could join you and photograph those gorgeous creatures!

I love the effect you get in the lighting of these pictures. It goes along with your gentle Spring so well. And the dear little ducklings! God love them! (That's what my grandmother would have said and I couldn't help thinking it just looking at your picture.)
Soon, I promise myself, soon I will see some yellow blooming outside.
