On a very cold Florida morn, Papa Goose is on guard once again. A Mama Muscovy has had her babies. And he is there. No matter where the nests are - no matter how buried they are - no matter what - he is there. He simply knows. And as the sound of honking carries across the lake from the other geese who have shunned him even though he is OF them, he stands alone, without them. He is ready to protect and defend his family. His duck family. His real family. His heart family. He will remain their protector as long as they are with us on earth. Papa Goose is an angel like no other angel.
And I love him so.

The wonders of nature.
Of love.
Of loyalty.
All so beautiful.
Tell him hello for me.
I worked at a place that had a pond and various
ducks and birds lived there. It was my favorite
place to go for a break.

Papa Goose's life purpose...a guardian angel on Earth. Those other geese don't know what they missed when they snubbed him. Their loss is the ducklings' gain. Thank you for sharing such sweet pictures of Papa Goose and his new family.
