I am a morning person, much preferring the sunrise to the sunset and saying hello to the day instead of goodbye. But last night's moon was beautiful and though I was unable to capture the "blood moon" I was able to capture the moon from the lake while I sat there on a rock in the dark savoring the sweet sounds of the ducks as they quacked quietly to each other before tucking themselves in for the night. I loved seeing the shadow of the palm tree taking ownership of the moon, if only for a minute, as it must be shared with the whole big wide world.
The moon is amazing, isn't it? From any view.
Love,
Me
and you captured the very best of the full blood moon last evening !
I so love the moon and stars -
and only the folks I love and care about that I wish them a nite moon nightly !
but that's just me - xo

We missed the blood moon. It was gorgeous last night too though.

I love the full moon. When I looked at it last night, I thought of the tiny kitten I found on the full moon last October. My neighbor adopted her and when I saw both the cat yesterday and the full moon, I wished her a happy one year adoption. October's full moon will always be special to me now. Oh, and my neighbor named the cat Luna. Isn't that perfect?

I so needed to visit your site today! Been missing it but life has been hectic lately. A person I love dearly is passing from this life into another. She is only 36. I needed some Daisy Cottage cheer and sweet words. Thanks for your beautiful photography. Hugs to you, Kim! (Her name is Kim, too)

no words to describe the beauty. The moon has always fascinated me. And....I am a night person. Perhaps that explains it. :)
