Descendants ...

In 1957 Queen Elizabeth generously gave "my" city a pair of mute swans. Their beautiful descendants are gracing this sweet lake to this day.  
And I am sure the Queen would agree that all babies are precious indeed.

What a lovely post. I don't think I ever knew the history of the swans on your lake. Yes, congratulations to William and Kate. When the birth was announced yesterday, I actually thought of Summer Lynn and how much joy she has brought to her family.
