A Season
to everything there is a season,
a time for every purpose under the sun.
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Oh...he is rather an ugly duckling until he gets his feathers dry...how very special it must be to see it for yourself. Does it require hours of patient observation or is it serendipity?
Dear Vee it requires luck to be there at the right moment and then patience to wait on Mother Nature's timing but once a crack is evident it doesn't really take that long for the cygnet to come all the way out. It is so beautiful to see and I treasure being able to share with each of you.
Thank you for this great gift! You are a gift to us. I never imagined I would "witness" this miracle! So exciting and amazingly wonderful! Just wonderful photography, Kim!
Oh my Gosh!!! that is Beautiful!! you teach me so much Kim I didn't know that Swan eggs are green. That is just Awesomely Wonderful and so are you! Thanks ;) xox
oh my goodness -
what a wonderful sight for you to be able to witness!
and the trust that you have built between nature and yourself is precious!
you are such a special lady!
Wow, so cool. Thanks for sharing. I know I sound like a broken record, but nobody can take a photo like you. The little swan with his head on the egg is so good. And the one with the wet baby sitting up could win a contest.
He is beautiful all newborn. Thank you for sharing this special birth with us. We will be having a special birth in our family in August. After welcoming three grandsons into our familly we will be welcoming a little girl to our family. My youngest son an his wife will become parents for the first time with our littl girl. I already bought her pink tennis shoes! I am blessed
So amazing you were there when this was happening. Awesome photos! You just HAVE to love nature! Thanks Kim.
