A Season
to everything there is a season,
a time for every purpose under the sun.
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Oh He/She is so cute! sorry Kim I don't know that much about squirrel's He/She seems to be very tame not afraid at all. Do they usually come out in the Daylight? Having a great old time munching on your flowers, yes one thing for certain life does go on!! that is so sweet. xox ;)
oh Kim... so glad you were stubborn ... about the "Stump"!!
Love the look and the trunk / stump does still say quite a lot!!!! I would have chosen to save SOMETHING of the tree too!!!! Thanks for sharing .... Terri
Squirrels are so adaptable and this fellow looks quite content to be sitting high up on Old Stump munching a flower and surveying the area.
Trish, we have an abundance of squirrels and around here they spend a lot of time on the ground finding food, but they always have a tree or, in this case, a high stump to scamper up for safety. They are only out during the day and sleep at night. They build large nests high in the trees out of leaves and such to raise their young. They are quite clever and excel at raiding bird feeders.
Thank you Gail, I think they are sweet little things although I would probably scream if one came near me lol bit of a frady cat!! so I'd watch and admire from a distance. Trish xox
