"Mom, Ashley is getting married this weekend! Can you take the pictures?"
Gulp.
My reply:
"Of course Shannon! I would love to! As long as she knows that I am a point and shoot girl and I can't guarantee that they will come out!"
Shannon reminded me, as all loving and biased daughters do, that of course the pictures would come out.
Ashley is one of Shannon's best friends. She is adorable. And beautiful. It was such an honor to photograph her wedding for her. I have never photographed a wedding before. As I snapped away, I also took to heart, all of the moments. You know - the moments where you witness your daughter and her friend living THEIR moments.
So I pointed and shootED. ;-)
And I shot blurry-eyed. I am many things - including a sentimentalist. I am sure to a fault.
Happy Wedding Day Ashley.
Happy Forever to you and Matthew too.
♥
Those are absolutely beautiful. My youngest was married this past May and I think you captured the moments better than their wedding photographer did.
It is your eye for beauty, found first on your other blog. :)

Scrumptious...I think you can hang out your shingle as a wedding photographer any day that you like. Wishing Ashley and her beloved a beautiful life together!
