There is something about the way this sweet squirrel is hanging on and hugging her tree that really touched me.

Poor little thing. She's been in a battle or two, hasn't she? Maybe that's why she's hanging on for dear life. Of all these photos today, I adore the purple flowers in the ferns. I'm going to go back and awwwwww at it right now.

I know why...those were the colors I chose for my room when I was first allowed to make the decision. Lavender and green...I can remember it still.
