A Season
to everything there is a season,
a time for every purpose under the sun.
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Kim, I NEVER tire of pictures of your home! Even your faux flowers are sweet. You put the "sweet" in "Home Sweet Home"! Your home reflects who You are and I prefer that sweetness and joy and comfort in a home that doesn't follow the trends. Originality and creativity are good! The colors in your home just reflect "happy" to me.
Home is where the heart is!
I like bright and warm colors as much as you do. The trend here is lots of white, little bit of grey and old (looking) decorations in white, grey or pastels. I prefer to decorate our house according to my ideas and I like to use my own creativity like you do!
♥
Your colors make me happy and I incorporate them in my home. Just looking around I see how I have been influenced by you and Daisy Cottage. Thank you, Kim.
I agree with what everyone has said. I love the happy colors of Daisy Cottage and you were one of the first to encourage me to decorate with my heart...and my heart loves color!
What a nice thing to remember when I decorate my home. For me, my home is a place to heal, a refuge, a precious sanctuary. I love your bright home pictures. Do you know that I just went to Daisy Cottage and browsed through some of your old posts? Then, you showed these special pictures.

Sooooo happy to see Dear Daisy Cottage today when I came here!!!!! I always LOVE visiting there via your lovely, cozy pics - thanks to you, dear Kim - I no longer pay attention to "trends" and just follow my heart in decorating my home! (And yes - I too still visit your "Dear Daisy Cottage" blog for inspiration, too!) Hugs to your day - Pauline
Hi Kim - I've haven't checked in for a while and decided to make a Sunday visit. How I missed your words of wisdom and beautiful photographs. And I learned that you and I have something in common: we are both expecting granddaughters! Congratulations to you and your daughter. Our little Madison will be here around the middle of November, first time for us. I know how excited you are. So good to visit with you; I promise to not stay away so long again.
I agree that home is where the heart is! All that matters is
that it makes you happy! I don't go for trends! I call it
being content! Love your style! Have a great day!

I love your pictures of your home. Love all the colors, the old and the new.
My house has color, too. I'm just not the type for all that white although I think it is so pretty in other people's homes.
Now I want to put red and aqua in a room.
