"See... you do it like this! Come on - if I can do it you can do it! You just flap your wings.. see?"
:-)
"Do we hold our necks like this Mama?".......
Sigh. These swans have touched my heart SO much. In the short time that I have come to know them they have also taught me so very much too.
And they made me smile...
And yes.... they made me cry.
I will NEVER forget our swan angel baby whose life began and ended here...though the precious little one WILL live on forever in our hearts.
Thank you for sharing these life moments with me.
Love,
Kim
P.S. I hope to see you at The Fancy Flea bright and early tomorrow! It is going to be wonderful!
so sweet tender moments,

I so wish I could get down to sunny Florida for the Fancy Flea! My good buddy, Kathleen J., will be there, although I don't know how early, with an entourage. Her sister is flying down today just so she could go to the Fancy Flea. (sigh) one of these days.....xo

I always seem to visit Florida a little too early or a little too late for the Fancy Flea. I just got back to Ohio Tuesday. I will once again live vicariously through your blog. HAVE FUN!

Life is beautiful, these babies and mother attest to that. Thank you for sharing them with us! As for the little one, it does help us to understand how the Good Shepherd feels, when one of His sheep is missing. So very poignant. You are a sweetheart, Kim.

Hello Sweet Kim~
Just stopping by to see you.
And I see swans, too.
I have such sweet memories and pictures of darling daughter feeding them at the lake downtown when she was maybe 2 or so. She still loves them today.

Kim, I love the swans!! They are so beautiful. Some of the best photos i have ever taken were a swan family that i took a couple years ago in Longboat Key at a little strip-mall. We had gone to the grocery store and i spotted them in a little pond beside the store and i had my husband stop the car and let me out and i stayed there until he came out and took picture. I was so excited! They were so beautiful; a mama and 3 little ones. Maybe i will be lucky next wk. I will be down there next week. I love your blog. veronica from n.c.

The story of the angel swan made me tear up. How sweet and sad. I'm glad you've been able to share them with us. Your photos of them are just simply gorgeous.
But don't forget Maggie! My 8 yr. old son likes to go to your blog to see if you've posted any new Maggie pics-:).

Well, I had no idea I was such a fan of randomness! Looks like it was a perfect day to me. And, I think you captured the thoughts of the little babes so right on. I find myself sitting here saying it out loud (in a very funny voice) "Do we hold our necks like this Mama?"
Again, you've brightened another one of my days.
