Savannah was wonderful, as always! My sister and I, along with several of our dear friends enjoyed our stay so so much. Spring has arrived there in all of its glory and the blooms were simply gorgeous. We went on their annual home tour, but unfortunately, they did not allow photos. Believe me, I tried! However I was allowed to take photos of this lovely garden for you.

The fish pond was built in 1920 and was originally a wading pool for young twin boys.
Everything was so pretty ...
Sigh. Simply lovely isn't it?
We will visit The Paris Market next....
xo,
Kim
Absolutely stunning! Oh, how I wish I could grow beautiful flowers like that in the hot Texas panhandle! Thanks for the garden tour. Jana in Texas

So beautiful Kim! I love Savannah and we go there a few times a year. Last time was this past November. Love the Paris Market....have you ever eaten at The Pink House? My favorite fancy restaurant there.

What richly serene gardens!
I love the touches of the many shades of blue. My hat is off to someone who can stand before the array of colorful pansies and still choose only the blues. I usually choose one of almost every color and regret the colors I leave behind. The look is more riotous.
Thanks for taking us along!
Hugs!

Welcome back, Kim! I'm so glad you had a wonderful time. The gardens are lovely. Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph and share them with us! This just makes me more anxious to go on vacation. It looks like we'll finally make it back to Maine this year. My shutter finger is just itching to start snapping pictures. Have a wonderful day! Oh, I'm loving all the blue! I think I'll do that color scheme in my garden next spring. Finding blue flowers for summer would be more difficult, so I'll stick with the pinks for later in the year.
Too bad you don't have access to spy cameras like on Get Smart! They look like reading glasses, but they are really cameras!!! LOL!

Hey Kim...so glad you are back. My husband and I were just in Savannah in September for our anniversary. It was our first time to be there and we loved it. I do wish we would have found Paris Market and the Pink House. I took pictures but of course I am not the photographer you are and never seem to capture the beauty as you do. We spent most of our time walking around Market Street, dining at a few local restuarants, taking lots of pictures and we did take a few tours. It was a very long drive all the way from Oklahoma but we loved the visit and I am so happy I got to finally see beautiful Savannah.

I loved all the accents of blue in the garden. Most people go for green but I think blue is best because it contrasts and really pops! Not to mention my favorite color is blue! What a lovely trip!

Absolutely lovely photographs! Oh how I long to visit Savannah again! The blues in the garden are gorgeous! Too bad they wouldn't let you take pics of the garden tour. The sun is shining in Michigan today, but everything is brown. These pictures want to make me garden soon!

Yes it is - simply lovely! And the chaise in the first photo is so like one belonging to my grandparents when I was a girl. Thanks for the memory!

Beautiful photos of the gardens. Wish some of those flowers would grow in Maine. Have always wanted to explore Savannah, but have always seemed to be in a hurry when going threw. I love your blog, I love shopping in all the same places you do and have found some wonderful things. Since I have found your blog I go to it everyday to check it out and to see if I've missed anything. I have to pace myself with what I can do daily, but you give me more inspiration to get some of my projects done. Thanks for such wonderful place to come and visit.

The garden, ponds, and porches are lovely, indeed! And the blue painted pieces are simply gorgeous. What a shame they wouldn't let you take pictures inside. I'm sure it was stunning, as well.

The garden is beautiful, al,most magical looking. I love the accents of blue running through the entire garden, its subtle but also very noticeable. do you have any suggestions on how to manage outdoor furnitures? how to prevent them from rusting?
