Save the Date!

 

 

I met my beautiful friend, Lori, downtown for lunch today.  We ate at Bay Street Bistro.  Everything that we had was SO delicious!

 

We had potato soup ....

 

 

 

 

 

And chicken salad ...

 

 

 

 

 

And we had coffee ...

 

 

 

 

And we had dessert.  We ate our AWESOME banana bread pudding in two seconds.  We ate it so fast that I didn't get a photo of it!  Can you imagine?

BUT I took photos of these scrumptious sweet treats for you ....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

NOW.... I HAVE had this pecan pie before and I will tell you this:

 

IT IS THE BEST PECAN PIE IN THE WHOLE WORLD.  PROMISE.

Apparently Marley was laying all over it when he is NOT allowed to do so. And he KNOWS that.  He DOESN'T know that he always manages to leave hairy evidence and bodily imprints behind that usually give away his sneaky shenanigans.

 

And that his sister is a major tattletail.

 

Although I think she is now feeling a bit remorseful because her brother is having to serve a serious time-out ...

 

 

 

 

 

But I am not sure if Marley is feeling remorseful.  I think he is just mad.

A Wonderful Day

 

 

 

Look what pulled up in front of Daisy Cottage to pick me up bright and early Wednesday morning?

 

And look who stepped out of the limo?

 

 

 

 

 

My beautiful friend, Fifi. 

This fabulous-in-pink limo was generously provided for us by Tausha and Wayne Salat who own A 1 Limousine.  Fifi and I photographed their GORGEOUS home yesterday while Fifi also waved her magic styling wand in the way that only our Fifi can do. 

It was such a WONDERFUL day in EVERY way. Our friend Debbie, proprietor of Vintage Soul, was also there.  You may remember when I shared about her and her awesome shop here. Several of her treasures can be found throughout Tausha's home.

So yes... a lovely day it was for we were treated to not only a ride in a pink limo and a beautifully decorated home by talented Tausha - we were also treated to sweet memorable moments with a very warm and loving family.
