Ah yes. It is SO the little things most days, isn't it?
Like roses in a glass sugar bowl.
Sweet and simple.
A perfect way to celebrate the 1st of February don't you think?
May your day be a beautiful one!
*The roses came home with me from the grocery store and the sugar bowl came from Goodwill - but of course!
xo,
Kim
Good morning, Kim! How I long for roses and spring. Right now in the TX panhandle it is 3 degrees w/ blowing snow and sustained winds of 35 mph ---- wind chill around
-15 degrees. Brrrrrrrrrrrr!!! Enjoy your nice, warm, sunny Florida weather! I can always dream about it!

That is the neatest picture, Kim. The roses are gorgeous: they look like they've been dipped in red pint. The little bowl is cute! Happy February!!!

Gorgeous roses, Kim! So lovely to see when it's a blizzard outside here in Kansas! But today is my kitty Peanut's 6th birthday - so of course we are celebrating, in spite of the weather!

Kim, I love reading the comments from Rosetta in Italian! Do you need help in translating? I am certainly not fluent but I can give you the gist of it.

Lovely flowers...In a few days those roses are probably going to go up in price, huh? I suppose alot of people buy roses for their Valentine Sweetheart! It is extremely cold here today -3 and the high is 13 for the day...Yikes! After showers were taken this morning, we had no water. I pray we will have it again this evening. We are truly blessed no matter what life deals out! Lol Kim, thanks for your lovely posts ;) Have a wonderful day in the warm country!

We are experiencing anything but "beautiful" weather here in Indiana. The only good thing is that my husband is staying home today!

Hi Kim, the roses are beautiful, mine are suffering in the heat wave here at the moment, yesterday it was 42* Celsius which is 107.6* Fahrenheit and today is going to be much of the same. Sounds like the weather is extreme all over the world. Have a great 1st of February!!! Trish xox ;)

Hi Kim, I have just started reading your blog in the last couple of weeks, and I LOVE your photos! Do you have any tips for a new blogger like myself? Janet

Absolutely beautiful! I love the little sugar bowl.

Ahhh roses :) .... I have noticed my currant bush is starting to put shoots out, the tinest leaves slowly unfurling, to be followed by a lovely cluster of hanging white flowers hanging like chandelier drops. Emma the dachie will go up and smell the lower ones once it blooms, but that won't happen for weeks yet as we are in the Pacific North-Northwest (Canada). The hellebores (lenten rose) already has put out a few brave flowers, but they will pull through should be have a snowfall again. The anticipation!!! It is almost here!!! Spring. Hugs to you and yours.

Last week I saw the same type of roses in the flowershop, but bought some beautiful Gerberas instead.
Next time I'll buy the roses... Defenitely!

Keep warm, my friend! We have dropped 45 degrees in Texas.....so cold!! I was hoping I wouldn't lose my flowers this year but Mother Nature has other plans. :) Thanks for the ray-of-sunshine with the roses. I needed that today!
