- What I hope for my readers and for all keepers of the nest, is that they embrace their homes with their heart and all of the passion that it holds. I want them to know that they can decorate on a limited budget by seeing things in new ways; by rescuing the broken and transforming the ugly. I hope that they flaunt their favorite color and decorate their life with it. I hope that their homes feel like one giant hug that welcomes them each and every time they walk through their front door. The Flea Was The Place To Be!
Oh my. Yesterday was so incredibly fun! The weather was beautiful and the treasures to be found were beautiful.
And YOU were beautiful. You know who you are. Thank you all VERY much for saying hello .. for saying what you said .. for being you. You could not be ANY cuter, any kinder, any sweeter. What a joy it was to meet each of you.
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
The Fancy Flea was fabulous! Of course I took a few photos to share and believe me there was SO much more to see than what I am sharing here.
But hopefully I have captured a wee bit of the fun for you!

Yippee! It's Time For The Fancy Flea!
I am so excited for Saturday to come! Why? Because of this ...
Remember the fun we had the last time we went to the flea?
It promises to be BEAUTIFUL weather and I promise that The Fancy Flea is going to be beautiful too! It will be held in downtown Lakeland, on Kentucky Avenue. I will be there somewhere - enjoying the sights and the fresh air and spending time with my friends. I would LOVE to meet YOU, so please say hi if you see me. I will be hanging with Lori, or Cindy, or Jill, or Mary, or Yvonne, or Erica, or ....... ;-)
I stopped by Lori's this morning to take a few photos of a teeny tiny sample of what she will have in her space. I got a peek at some of her painted furniture pieces.... and I wanted to bring EVERY one home with me. Sigh. Gorgeous gorgeous, and I mean GORGEOUS colors. She will have all kinds of goodies as will ALL of the vendors that will be lined up on our also gorgeous downtown street.
There will be something for everyone and lots of places to sit and eat and take in the sights. I truly can't wait.
I also can't wait to tell Vivian that she won a copy of Where Women Create!
