Good Morning!
Thank you for ALL that you shared with me here. Your thoughts are inspiring to others and ME. With your generous reflections you gently encouraged all of us to indeed love ourselves. For some of us that is really really hard to do. We don't feel worthy. We don't feel lovable. We don't feel that we matter. And that so isn't true. No matter who, what, where, when, or why we must love ourselves so that we can fully love others and life itself.
At least that is what I believe. And for some of us this ability to love ourselves may take a lifetime. Well that is okay too. All that matters is that we love ourselves from this day forward.
So thank you. ((((hugs))))
And look! We've been given ANOTHER day! :-)
Obviously I am beginning mine with having a bowl of cereal. Lately I haven't been eating breakfast but my grocery store was running a buy one get one free special for Special K so I bought two boxes. ;-)
I love how a wee bit of sunlight crept into the bowl!
And then after I make the bed and straighten up a bit, I will be working on photo captions for my next story for Romantic Country. I also should give Maggie a bath. She deserves to be all clean and fluffy. And of course I always need to swiffer and then I will call my mother.
But for now, I will crunch and munch and sip.
And send you my love and best wishes for YOU to have a beautiful beautiful day. You will so be in mine.
Love,
Kim
Good morning to you!
Yes, it's been said that God don't make junk, so that includes every one of us! We were made of love and stardust. What could give each of us a better start?!
Today I'll get out my autumn tablecloths and change my living and dining rooms to their seasonal outfits. What fun!
In a few minutes I'll have my bowl of Special K, too!
Hugs!

Right back at you, Kim. Special K is my favorite cereal. Your photo captured the very essence of all its wholesome goodness and deliciousness!!!!! I especially like the way Mr. Sun peeked in to say "good morning" to all of us! Enjoy!

Special K with red berries is one of my favorites.
I love that bit of sunlight in the bowl.

Every time you post one of your cereal bowls, I go running for one of my own. Trouble is, I've already had breakfast!

A folded-over sliced chicken sandwich with Dijon and just-made sweet pickle slices, eaten at 10:00 a.m., loses a lot in juxtaposition to that sunny crisp bowl of sweet flakes.
When you've been out in this cool Fall morning since 7:30, it FEELS like lunchtime!
Wonder if the day will stretch O-U-T accordingly? A day like this could go on forever. Hope yours is as pleasant!

Kim,
Breakfast is a very important start of the day so I'm glad you chose to have some Special K. I say that as I haven't had a thing yet, other than coffee. Lol
Congratulations on Romantic Country...You may have done this many times, I don't know, but I'm still proud of you. I'm also proud of you for calling your mama!
I too love the way the sun crept into your beautiful bowl!
Have a blessed day, my friend ;)

You reminded me I need to Swiffer the kitchen and dining room floors. The collies are shedding. Have a happy day, Kim.

Kim,
Do you ever directly comment back to people?
Posted by: Renie Cee | September 16, 2010 at 11:16 AM
Although I'm a southerner, my first bowl of Special K was at a 4 star hotel in England. I didn't even know what it was, but I liked it. I thought it was some exotic European brand. haha (At home, if it wasn't Crispix, I didn't buy it.)

I love that your bowl has flowers INSIDE so you can see them while you eat!

Hi Renie,
I'm not sure what you mean - check your email as I emailed you but yes, if I happen to be at the computer and I see something come through that I can answer I try to within that blog's post and I try to answer my emails too but I don't always receive them due to Yahoo glitches. I read every single comment and do my best to reply in some way as I am able to. And of course I read and appreciate EACH one very very much.
I hope you are having a good day. ((hugs)) And let me know if there is something that you'd like to ask. :-)
xo,
Kim

I like to start my day with morning coffee, cereal or a blueberry muffin and then read your blog.
You make everyone feel very special and feel like you are talking to everyone individually.
Congrats on the Romantic Country....

Have a happy day dear Kim. I had Cream of Wheat cereal for breakfast. It was chilly here this morning and a bowl of hot cereal is a great tummy warmer.

I am eating my lunch right now and reading your blog. It instantly calms me down from the stresses of the day. My husband just rolls his eyes when he hears this music!!! Have a great day, Kim. Look forward to reading your issue of Romantic Country. You are so talented and generous.

Kim, I hope you have a great day! I love your "breakfast" photos. :) I really like that red-and-white cotton tablecloth. I have a similar one with worn edges and a few ragged holes in it that was my dear Grandma's, and I wouldn't trade it. :)

another poetic bowl of cereal, i love it, congrats on your story , i know i say this alot but thank you so much for helping me change my view of things i can truly say life is good i haven't said that for a very long time.

Dearest Kim,
What a beautiful and worthwhile message, I have met so many people along life's way that do not love themselves. They would make better decisions and have much better relations with better people if only they did.
Keep putting your positive, kind and meaningful messages out there, they are so needed.
Hugs, Cindy

Love your happy cereal bowl! Yes, at times it is hard to love oneself, I am my worst critic, but I always try to see the good in everyone else and hand out many compliments! My mother taught me this. Love ya from Okla, Cindy

Good morning to you Daisy! Looks like a lovely bowl of cereal and coffee. And the peek of sunshine makes it all the better!
I start almost every morning with an iced latte and a bowl of Multigrain Cheerios. It's a simple breakfast, but I so enjoy it! :)

Your cereal looks yummy! We mostly always have juice or smoothies, but that looks very tempting. I don't know if I could have passed up the boxes either. I hope you enjoyed your phone conversation with your mom. I try to cal mine about every day since Daddy died in March. Moms are so special. Blessings!
