What I hope for my readers and for all keepers of the nest, is that they embrace their homes with their heart and all of the passion that it holds. I want them to know that they can decorate on a limited budget by seeing things in new ways; by rescuing the broken and transforming the ugly. I hope that they flaunt their favorite color and decorate their life with it. I hope that their homes feel like one giant hug that welcomes them each and every time they walk through their front door. Four Years and Something For YOU!

In a blink of an eye, the past four years have slipped on by.

Four years ago today, I came here. And I met YOU.

And I thank you. And I appreciate you. And I love you.

And you SO know that.

To celebrate my four year blog anniversary I thought I'd give away to one of you a brand new place setting of Scarlet Red Fiestaware! Red for love and red because, well YOU know - I LOVE red! ;-) Your place setting will include a dinner plate, a luncheon plate - though you don't see that in the photo I promise it WILL be there - and a cup and saucer. Fun, right? And in honor of my love for yellow I would like to give away my favorite little vintage bud vase too!

Repeats

I know, I know.

I say this ALL the time.

But it bears repeating I do believe.

So remember - it doesn't matter if you love all things black and white ...

Or if you love all things color or a little or both. It doesn't matter if you like a few things or a lot of things. It doesn't matter if you like new things or old things.

All that matters is that you love your things. YOU. YOU. YOU.

You and what you love is ALL that matters.

Right Maggie?

Morning Musings

Good Morning!

Thank you for ALL that you shared with me here. Your thoughts are inspiring to others and ME. With your generous reflections you gently encouraged all of us to indeed love ourselves. For some of us that is really really hard to do. We don't feel worthy. We don't feel lovable. We don't feel that we matter. And that so isn't true. No matter who, what, where, when, or why we must love ourselves so that we can fully love others and life itself.

At least that is what I believe. And for some of us this ability to love ourselves may take a lifetime. Well that is okay too. All that matters is that we love ourselves from this day forward.

So thank you. ((((hugs))))

And look! We've been given ANOTHER day! :-)

Obviously I am beginning mine with having a bowl of cereal. Lately I haven't been eating breakfast but my grocery store was running a buy one get one free special for Special K so I bought two boxes. ;-)

I love how a wee bit of sunlight crept into the bowl!

And then after I make the bed and straighten up a bit, I will be working on photo captions for my next story for Romantic Country. I also should give Maggie a bath. She deserves to be all clean and fluffy. And of course I always need to swiffer and then I will call my mother.

But for now, I will crunch and munch and sip.
