No, the bananas are not QUITE ready for banana bread. But soon.
Real soon. :-)
And it is time to hang up my dishtowel because I'm going to an afternoon movie with my Mom and Sis.
Let's see - ice cold air conditioning, buttery popcorn with just the right amount of salt, chocolate Goobers, and a comfy chair ...
I'm SO THERE! ;-)
Hope you have a wonderful weekend sweeties.
Oh and Marley has apologized to Maggie and they are currently napping together.
All is well.
Love,
Kim

What movie?
AMIL and I spent much of today making Concord grape jam from grapes that may not have been Concords (these were small) and they were certainly NOT seedless as the label stated. We hand picked the seeds out. Oh, my aching back! Still, it should taste wonderful!
Off to my comfy chair!
Hugs!

I just finished reading Eat, Pray, Love and I can't wait to see the movie. It is going to be so good. I love Julia Roberts and I am excited to visit those 3 countries that were in the book. I just bought a milk glass dish this weekend that is just like the one you have your bananas in. I went on a girl's trip to the beach with my best friend and we went thrifting and to SC's largest flea market this morning. We had an awesome time and I got lots of milk glass and other neat treasures. Enjoy your weekend. Love & blessings from NC!

The bananas will wait while you have a fun girls' afternoon. I always have some over ripe bananas in the freezer so I am ready at a few moments ( OK, a couple of hours to thaw) notice.

And guess what? I've decided to go to Italy next spring for 3 months to discover myself. Alone. Yep! leave family and my puppy to live in their culture to learn about life outside of my own. Have been thinking of doing this for years.......REALLY gonna do it now! Have already found an apt to rent........so excited!!!

Cute colorful dishtowels too! Just know your life is full of excitement with all your darling colorful decor! Have fun at the movies, went with my oldest grandson yesterday to see a dogs and cats movie. Unfortunately, he woke me up at the end of the movie and said, nana, the movie is over time to go. That's the first time, thats ever happened, thankfully. Cindy Okla

I wonder if you are seeing Eat, Love, Pray? I went to see it yesterday and enjoyed it, hope you do too. It wasn't as good as the book in my opinion, but still beautiful and entertaining.

Oh swoon, that Movie Theatre Popcorn...extra butter that coats each heavenly chewy morsel in the Gigantus Bucket size...it's an obsession, and I refuse to get professional help. Unless the therapist offers popcorn during the session, of course!!
Hope you had a great time at the movie...let us know what you sent to see...
