Yesterday I met my dear friend Lori for a light lunch at the Garden Bistro which is located next to Hollis Garden - a formal garden situated on Lake Mirror and off of the Lake Mirror Promenade. I arrived early so that you and I could stroll down by the promenade and explore the garden together.
Oh and I thought maybe we should walk off that Snickers bar, you know?

Now that we've treated ourselves to the gift of nature, let's treat ourselves to some quiet time together ...
And then let's go have a beautiful day.
Love,
Kim
What a beautiful place Kim. Your photography is stunning, I love how lovely everything looks against that blue sky. I love to visit gardens, and this one looks beautiful.

Oh, please say that those knotted limbs are Wisteria! I cannot find the telltale purple anywhere, but it just has to be.
It's so reminiscent of one on our block when I was a child---it was as big and strong as tree limbs. I'd step up into the sway of the huge vines, climb high as I could, and just be able to see the lucky people having their dinner in the dining cars of the Southbound train.

Oh, how lovely! The braided branch is especially interesting. I may need to snack on a Snickers and take another look at your pretty pictures! :)
