Blueberry Mike looks too good to be true! Did they hire him for the day to just stand there and look good?? LOL!! Glad you had so much fun and the weather looked like it was amazing! Your daughter is so beautiful. I love her top. (Anthropology??) I'm not surprised her hot pink desk sold right away! I had my eye on that as soon as I saw it! Love the bags your sister makes. Very talented family you bunch are! I think my fav is the pic of your daughter with the desk! Thanks for sharing your fab day, would have loved to been there!

Oh wow what great photos. You captured "the flea" perfectly. It was great meeting you in person and I'm sure we will cross paths again. The Flea was awesome I got so many ideas for my own Dixieland bungalow and I'll be seeing everyone with all my collected "treasures" in Nov.

As much as I loved the rain we had here in Indiana, it was wonderful to see the sun shining down on the Fancy Flea. I only hope that the pictures will dance through my dreams tonight. I have so many favorite photos, although the one that stands out in my mind is the picture of the white and glass tablescape, the dishes are slightly out of focus, but in the foreground is the lovely yellow blanket. I can just imagine having that out on a back porch to enjoy lovely meals in the summertime. My other favorable mentions would definitely be the picture of the vintage dishes containing the gorgeous blue fire king? dish, I love blue and it had so many blue dishes that I was drooling over, lol. Also the closeup of the yellow dresser was superb, normally I don't surround myself with yellow, but the shade is just gorgeous and cheerful, I can't resist.
Lastly the picture containing the Home and Garden Book, it's a vintage book I remember from my childhood. My mom had that book as well as some of the other popular home and garden books of that era. Unfortunately she passed away almost four years ago and between her and my dad moving alot most of those things have simply disappeared with time. And thank you again Kim for adding me to your Blog Candy!

What a wonderful day for the F F! I like the last picture best. The one where you are pointing out where Black and Brew is. I could see you there. You and your town are lovely! I also love the blue herb bench. My husband says he can make one for me.:) All the pictures are great Kim.
Thank you!

Looks like a great time and some good stuff!
My favorite photo is Kate of course. After that, the one with the blue tent and all the flowers in front with the $35 sign on it...

Oh Kim!!! So sad I missed it! Planed on going with my Mom, but spent the day in bed with a fever and some weird random infection YUCK! Hope to make it next year. LOVE your goodies in the giveaway. Fave pic - embarrassed to say it's Blueberry Mike! He could have sold me just about anything! Love the pics showing Munn Park too.

Beautiful pictures as always Kim.
I should have been there I saw a couple things that would fit with my collections-the "luncheon plates and cups" and the Pyrex "refrigerator dishes" (with the little lids.
Wow so many beautiful things there.
What did you bring home for you?
Posted by: Renee | May 03, 2010 at 12:41 AM
I forgot to tell you-my favorite picture Baby Kate-I'm always partial to the babies. She's adorable and just looked at your tour of their home, beautiful.
Posted by: Renee | May 03, 2010 at 12:52 AM
I felt I was strolling along beside you as I browsed through your wonderful photos. I just might be inspired to get creative after seeing all the goodies at the Fancy Flea.
Loved the linens and rolling pins and red bistro set but it was the pink French Provincial set that captured my heart! Good thing I was a continent away or my pocketbook would have been in big trouble :)

What a delightful day it looks like you had! I loved all the photos! Such beautiful things! I wish I could have been there, but you made it seem as if I was. Thank you.

Oh I wish I could have been there. All the painted furniture, flowers, fabrics, the dishes, linens, the sunshine, the dogs.. oh my... All the photos are gorgeous but I'm rather partial to the cute little doxie and the photo with the "for president" sign. Thank you for sharing.
Posted by: jayne | May 03, 2010 at 02:03 AM
Wonderful pictures, love them all. I wish I could have been there! Just heaven, all these vintage items and furniture. I almost can't find any antique or vintage furniture where I live and if I do, it's perhaps ten times more expensive than in the USA because it's so rare. Loved the virtual tour at your flea market visit!
Posted by: Elsina | May 03, 2010 at 02:41 AM
I just fell in love with the pretty pink furniture - that pic is my favorite!
What a wonderful sale - so much eye-candy - it was really hard to choose just one favorite!

Thank you for sharing.....we have nothing even close to this type of event in our little town. It's hard to choose, but I love the painted furniture in many of the photos...the pink furniture especially. The little red doxie picture is another fav...looks like my Morgan. Did you find great things for Daisy Cottage? Judy

Kim,
I felt like I was right there with you. Thank you so much for sharing your day with those of us who live too far away to attend in person.
I enjoyed all of your pictures, but the one with the stack of aluminum "glasses" was my favorite because my grandfather had the same set and it made for the coldest sip of water imaginable. My mother also had the same cake plate and cover as is in that picture. Thank you for the memories.
YOU ARE THE BEST! Lori
Posted by: Lori | May 03, 2010 at 08:15 AM
Kim first of all thanks soooo much for sharing with us.My favorite pic is hard to choose because I loved them all but the painted furniture really caught my eye.And no doubt Blueberry Mike ooohh what was the asking price for him anyway lol.Looks like you had a terrific time and great weather.

Hi Kim,
Oh my goodness -what a fun day everyone had at the Fancy Flea. I would love to hop over from California to join in on the fun but since I can't I enjoyed every one of your photos. The herbs and flowers really made the market special since I love gardening and just planted a Spring herb garden. My favorite photo would have to be the first with the fabulous blue tea pot and all of the blue and white. Love - love it.
Sending you and Maggie blessings, hugs, tail wags and best wishes,
Erin and Bentley

Oh my! Such eye candy!
My favorite: with people- that darling baby
Of the flea- I like the picture of the dresser with the silver on top
and the picture of the 2 peoples fannies as they are looking for something in that field of garden was funny!
I would love to win this lovely giveaway! karen....

The close up photos of the jewellery are so yummy to gaze at, but I think the flowers for sale are the prettiest photos. Oh for my garden to look like that.
As for Blueberry Mike - well, I have a couple of blueberry bushes that might need tending....if he's ever this side of the pond! xx
Posted by: Andi | May 03, 2010 at 09:25 AM
That looks like it was truly a delightful day. My sister and I love to go antiquing and something I'm always on the lookout for are quilt blocks or quilt tops that need to be finished. I know that quilter would be tickled pink to see her project finished out.
Posted by: Sally Hamilton | May 03, 2010 at 09:34 AM
I loved, loved, loved all the painted furniture! But when I saw the pic of the two tables with the park in the background I wanted to sit down with a sandwich and an icy lemonade!
I used to live in Lakeland and downtown was nothing like it is today! I couldn't wait to leave, what was I thinking? Oh, maybe it was because I kept running into my ex and his girlfriend :)
Posted by: Sandy | May 03, 2010 at 09:35 AM
This is one reason I love your blog. The pictures are so beautiful that I can't pick a favorite. Even though the storms were raging here in Arkansas, I can still enjoy the beauty of your site that God has given. For those of us who live far away, through your blog, we can have our spirits lifted in your work. Kim, you are an inspiration to so many and we thank you for sending out the love through your pictures. God bless you!!! Alice

Wow, love all of the treasures. Mr. Blueberry was quite charming. I love herbs as well so I would so be at his section of the sale:)
I would love to arrange a flea like this in my neighbourhood. Sounds like a fun way to spend a day in the sun. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Kim,
I am sitting here drooling over each picture! I sure regret missing this event - I could have bought so many things. I was just overwhelmed looking at all the beautiful things at each booth. I have almost the same amorie that you showed with you/Shannon in the mirrors. It was the first "antique" piece I bought years ago - I turned mine into a sewing cabinet. I love the mustard chest of drawer and the aqua dresser was TDF. The "blueberry guy" wasn't bad either. I could have took him home in a heart beat. LOL Thanks for letting us tag along as you visited all the booths.

Oh my goodness, I wouldn't have known what to buy first!
It's hard to pick a favorite photo because I loved so many of them, but the close up of the red iron chair with the zebra rug blurred in the background made my heart skip a beat!

Fancy Flea looks like a spot I would love to shop :-)
Thanks for sharing your day! Hard to pick a "favourite" photo ... but I loved the chippy vintage doorknob so the 4th photo from the bottom with the bird plaques, yellow linen napkins, vintage paint by numbers and chippy doorknob is my choice for fave ♥
Posted by: Deb | May 03, 2010 at 10:32 AM
Since it's so hard to pick from all the amazing items in the pics (although, the woman escaping with the turquoise mrror is great), I vote for the picture of Sean and Lisa with Katie. My "baby" is 24 now and I was thinking about how fun the journey of raising a little person is. Happy Mother's Day, Lisa! Oooh...and I do like those red ice cream type chairs...
Posted by: carla | May 03, 2010 at 10:54 AM
This surely makes me want to go "fleaing"! I loved the pictures you took. As I do some very amateurish painting myself, I really enjoyed Mary's art. My favorite thing to paint is fruit. She did beautiful work. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.

Thanks for all the great photos of the Fancy Flea!! It is so fun the "arm chair shop". I enjoyed seeing all of the brightly painted furniture. Shannon's desk was darling and I can see why it sold so quickly. I liked the dresser that was painted a certain shade of turquoise you know the one with the floral prints in the oval frames peaking out. The Blueberry guy was cute too.

Thanks for introducing us to sweet little Kate! I'd wondered about Sean and Lisa's baby since you mentioned they were expecting when we got to tour their delightful home.
As wonderful as your give-away items are, please don't put my name in the hat this time. I have more than enough and am trying to simplify at least a bit and have more art than I have wall space.
Your blog is just so much fun! Thanks and hugs!

Dear Kim,
My husband and I so enjoyed meeting you on Saturday.Of course, my favorite picture is the one of Bentley. He is enjoying his 15 minutes of fame. Pretty good for a pound pup that beat the odds. Love reading your blog. The Fancy Flea was just delightful. Thanks for telling us about it on your blog. Small town FL at its best.

I enjoyed looking at all the pictures of the Fancy Flea, however, my most favorite.... and the one that has inspired me, is the one of the herb bench with the terra cotta pots inserted into the bench!! so adorable, I am going to have to have one myself!! beautiful town you live in as well, I felt that I have strolled down the sidewalk with you.....

Oh my it looked like so much fun! My favorite picture would have to be Erica's booth and those iron tables!!! I have been looking for one for such a long time and they are so hard to find here in AZ. Now I know where I should look! LOL

Kim,
"Beauty in things exists merely in the mind which contemplates them." (David Hume's Essays, Moral and Political,1742).
I loved the little canvas paintings by children. What an awesome way to teaching our youth to appreciate art. I believe it will help our world continue to flourish.
Beauty is said to be in the eye of the beholder...I'm sure that Mary's mom has some little canvas paintings that she still cherishes.
Love, Cheryl

Oh Kim, this flea market is so wonderful and colorful!
I love the photo where the potted herbs are on a blue-aqua stand. It inspired me to make a sign for my own herb garden. And the next photo, with Blueberry Mike by the herb stand. What a cute guy.

I wish we had a flea market like that here on Cape Cod... how lucky you are.... As for my favorite photo -- of course, it's Blueberry Mike -- what a cutie! I have my own man who loves to garden, but we have 3 daughters (15, 13 and 9), and hope that someday they will find their very own Blueberry Mike!

All the photos are wonderful, and I see many things I would have wanted to bring home. But out of them all, Blueberry Mike would be my first choice!
Shannon looks beautiful and I'll bet she's as sweet and kind as her Mama.
Love you

I was in Lakeland once years ago and clearly don't remember how darling your town is. Time for another visit. And all I can say is, HELLO BLUEBERRY MIKE! Even though he is young enough to be my son-in-law....LOL! Loved your pictures, Kim.
