Maggie wanted me to tell you that when it comes to her and I hanging out together at Daisy Cottage...
And doing the little daily Maggie & Mommy things that we do .. that she is VERY VERY glad that she is also hanging out with YOU.
She loves you.
Maggie really wanted you to know that. It seems she is in somewhat of a pensive doxie mood.
As for me - well I can't imagine NOT hanging out and loving you. I feel like I have known you forever. You ARE the daisies in my life. I REALLY want you to know that too.
Love,
Kim AND Maggie
Kim, kim, KIM! Your beautiful photos make me want to hang out with you and Miss Maggie, as well! I think even the most ordinary day is special when we are with the ones we love, especially if we are mindful of all that we have and all that we are. Thank you for stopping by yesterday. You are truly an inspiration to ME! xx P&H

Awwwwwwwww, Miss Maggie (and Kim, too) how sweet and how special to be told you are loved! You two are a bright spot in my days, and I always save reading your blog until last or next to last just because I always walk away feeling brighter and better for the experience!
I'm going to be in FL pretty soon, just wish I was going to be in YOUR part of the state, because I would love to meet you somewhere for a chat! Thanks for reminding us that love is to be given and received, even to someone we have never met in person. Love is universal and best when freely given and openly received! Blessings, Becky G. in GA

Kim, how to you get Miss Maggie to pose for you? That face says it all. I have been home only a week and I miss Florida so much. I live in Indiana and we are having a beautiful spring but I miss the sun, the birds and the beautiful flowers/palm trees. You are so lucky to live in Daisy Cottage.
Your blog always put a smile on my face and warms my heart.
Hugs,

I'm new to your blog, but oh how I have been blessed. Your music takes me back to the days of my teenage years. Stranger on the Shore by Pete Fountain was one of my Dad's favorites. He's been gone a long time, but how wonderful to be transported in memory to another time, another place. Your Daisy Cottage is lovely and must surely have the "homey" feel to it. I love your decorating touch. Thank you for creating such a peaceful setting.
Now I hear "Moon River" and I go back to remembrance of my first real boyfriend and our first formal dance. His parents drove us to a birthday party about 30 miles away from our little town in south Mississippi where we danced the evening away. We were in the seventh grade. How is that for telling my age? The Lord bless you with His favor today.

Lovely pictures as always Kim, but I had no idea that the steps leading to your door were that gorgeous green! How lovely, and just more proof that you embrace color, and know how to use it!

I had a fevered child this morning, so of course I ran around getting thermometers, cold pacs, blankets, a bed tray, water bottles, etc. He was so well taken care of that now (merely 10am) he is feeling so much better.
Meanwhile I'm walking around feeling like I've forgotten something. I cancelled work, cancelled his day's plans, hrm....what could it be? WHAT did I forget that is so important that I feel like I've forgotten my right arm at home.
OH! You...I forgot to read your lovely blog that puts me in the mood to appreciate the little beauties of the day. Your photos are like a world of pretty reminders for me. I stop and smell roses, tickle lady bugs, brush my hand against my rosemary bush on the way to the car, etc...because of you. Thank you, Kim...and I apologize for my absent mindedness. I'll work hard to never forget again. :)

You are the first bog I go to, with my cup of coffee of course, and you never cease to make me smile. I listen to STRANGERS ON THE SHORE, as way back when, I took it to state contest with my clarinet. I won't say how many years ago but it brings back memories. Give Maggie a hug and have a good day..............JAN

But alas, we are far apart. Thankfully there is this wonderful place called Blog Land where we can visit each other and other friends every day. Thank you for the beautiful photos. Oh Kim and Maggie, too! What am I going to do with you!? My spirit skips a beat when I visit your blog! I come around quite often, yaw know. I would love to just hang out on your porch. Heck, I am by so often…I feel like I have actually been there. I know it by heart. Grins!
I just started my own blog. I mentioned you in my post regarding color and how you have inspired me to add it to my backyard. My interior is very neutral, so doing so will add a little pizzazz round' here. I am excited about the whole transition. Kristtie

Hello Kim....I love visiting with you everyday....Maggie is just adorable. I have a long haired doxy called Suzie Q. She turned 16 yesterday and is now hard of hearing and almost blind, but still acts like a puppy at times. Every two months I take her for steroid shots as her hind legs give out every once in awhile, but we still have fun with her. God Bless you and yours*~*~*~*~*

It's too bad Joey and Maggie couldn't hang out together today - he's in a pensive Doxie mood today, too. Thinking it's our gray, showery Spring weather. I think he's thinking he doesn't get to go for a walk but he's wrong - we're going in a few minutes and I'm sure he will perk right up! Love your photos - and love hanging out with you!

I am very glad you and Maggie will continue to bring us your special love. Your loving personality is an inspiration to me. I have told you many times how you have influenced me to open my heart and see life as the beautiful gift it is. Yesterday and today's photos are a feast for the eyes. I stopped and gazed at the daisy for a long while. Deep breath in ,exhale, more relaxed now.
Thank you,

You know Kim, I have to say that YOU are the daisy in my life too! In fact, not a day passes that I do not stop by to visit. Some days I haven't enough time to comment, but I am always here. You have lifted my spirits on more days than I can count...and "Stranger on the Shore" fills me with peace when I hear it because it reminds me of you. Thank you so much for being YOU and for adding a bit of brightness for all of us.
XOXO,
