I am REALLY going to miss you.
Very very very much.
But I will be back soon. The MOPS are coming tomorrow to Daisy Cottage! I am cleaning and primping and HOPING that they enjoy their visit. AND I happily have a new home story to write for Romantic Country. Glorious Easter is coming and we will be celebrating my mother's 76th birthday. And there are quite a few precious hearts that need to be photographed so that I may share them ALL with you. So I guess I must say my goodbyes for now.
Hugs and kisses and nothing but good wishes for you and you and you and you and you and you.
Love always,
Kim
Don't scare me like that!
And have a good time. :)

Kim, I really appreciate the fact that you work in a bit of creativity and inspiration into each day. The little bits of beauty bring so much joy! That's exactly the subject of my most recent blog post -- the fact that the busier we are, the more we need to do creative projects to refresh our spirits. In my post, I share ideas to work a bit of creativity into each day even if you are very short on time (and money!) Thanks for all the inspiration!

I'm one of those MOPs moms who is coming to visit! I had not heard of your blog until our leaders shared it with us and your beautiful invitation to come and see your home.
For those who wonder... MOPs stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPs can be found all over the US. It is groups of women who come together for some grown up time while they learn from one another about life as a mom.
This Saturday we are have a Mom's Morning Out that starts with coffee at a local shop and then our visit with Kim. Many of us are looking forward to all of it, especially the decorating part because, well, some of us are very challenged in that area!
See you Saturday!

The photos of the many hearts you've received are awaited eagerly! I look forward to seeing how many directions our imaginations have taken us.
Happy Birthday to your Mama!

Kim, the MOPS moms will LOVE Daisy Cottage. What a wonderful offering for you to let them visit in person! MOPS ministry is dear to my heart. I helped keep the nursery at our church for their meetings for a few years. It is the best outreach our church has. Blessings to your group.
My heart for Jack is going out in tomorrow's mail. Whew! I made it in the nick of time. I was determined to join in.
XOXO,

I will miss you too, sweet Kim, but I know you will be back. I have enjoyed your blog posts so much this week. They really are a ray of sunshine to me! I adore your white pillow with the numbers on it. I have been trying to find ideas for some new pillows. Perhaps I should make one with 1927 on it, that is the year our house was built. Hugs, Cindy s

Hi Kim, My husband and I were at an Antique shop in Hazel, Kentucky over the weekend just enjoying the day. It had rained the night before and was too wet to work in the yard so we "played". I ran into a girl in the store with an arm load of chenille bed spreads and I asked if she were collecting them or just making something from them. This started a conversation of "things we do with what". Just a very sweet person and she and her mom and sisters had been to the Country Living Fair, in Ohio, I think she said. I told her I go on a trip almost every day to Daisy Cottage!!! I just went on and on and on about your site. So...now you have a new viewer. She was just so excited about it.And was scratching in her purse to find a scrap of paper to write it on. I knew she would be. You know, all of us are just "kindred spirits" in this beautiful world that God chose us to be a part. Thank you for such a bright spot in my corner of this world. God Bless
