Come on Maggie - please look at me! We need to make our Valentine photo for our dear friends and show them your beautiful scarf that Miss Vicki gave you!
Yoo hoo! Maggie! Over here girl.. look at me!
Good good, that's good, but can you turn a little bit more towards me?
That's better sweetie, but can you open your eyes ALL the way?
Now if you could just look RIGHT at Mommy, that would be PERFECT!
Come on girl, you can do it!
Maggie? Maggie? Wait..... don't go!
Come back! Please?
Sigh.
Well, apparently Maggie doesn't want to be perfect.
What a smart girl.
;-)
Kim
You don't have to be perfect to be beautiful. Or so Nester says. That pink scarf is definitely Maggie's color. Mimi

Oh, how sweet! Animals are hard to get a picture of and they seem to be pretty smart about us going for the camera..my cat hides when she hears me turn it on! Come say hi :D

Hi Kim-
I wanted to let you know that I posted today about the Hearts for Jack. I started sewing over the weekend after a long, long time away from it and the first thing I made was a heart. A short time after that I read your post and now I am making another one to send your way.
I will send you an e-mail to get the address.
Big hugs!

Aw Maggie!
I can totally relate to this! My little dachshund Spanky, goes into a sad mode the minute I get out the camera. He always looks so happy and sweet but when I try to take a picture he looks away or gives me this pitiful look. Aren't weinies funny??? Anyway, I think Maggie is adorable and Spanky does too!

Oh, sweet! Funny and sweet! Don't you know by now that Doxies only do what Doxies want to do and only on the Doxie's timetable??? You did well - my Doxie girls would never stay still for that long - unless they had a rawhide bone between their paws! Have a great day! Becky

Kim,
You are a delight! I have a maltipoo named Tuffy who is just plain nasty. He is allergic to grass and we have had allergy shots and now down to a pill a day. He lets me know when I should be in the kitchen cooking- At 4:15 he sits and stares at me and snorts because it's time for his teaspoon of ice cream. He really runs the show and he is so pretty but really has a nasty disposition. Only a dog that the old owners would love!

That is one cute dog! I love the last pic of the empty chair. Doesn't that say it all!? Chickens are especially challenging to photograph. All you end up with are chicken butts.

I just think you have the most photographic dog I have ever seen... lol I think Miss Maggie would change the spelling and say excuse me Miss Julie I do believe you meant the most PHOTOGRAPHED dog. She is just too sweet. I posted about Scotties today. Just love canines...
Thanks for the smiles Maggie!

Maggie, you are the most precious thing! You are a vision in pink. You should join us for Pink Saturday! My Molly doesn't like to look at the camera either. In fact, she seems to know the precise moment that the shutter will open and that's when she shuts her eyes. Now, run and tell Mommy you're ready for your closeup! Hugs, Terri

Dogs...love em!!

Greetings Kim,
I randomly just surfed in this morning. Your web site
is warm, nostalgic and charming reflecting your bungalow I am quite certain. Love your style and ideas --you're as inspirational and creative as Rachel Ashwell herself!
You mentioned that you live in Central Florida...so do I.
Isn't it wonderful...the land of the green sea, the red sun, and "redder necks"!! I use to live in Indian Rocks Beach back in 1984, and moved about 45 minutes north of there about 14 years ago to Bayonet Point which is steeped with many enchanting vintage shops.
Has anyone ever told you that you resemble Elizabeth Taylor? Hope you're staying warm during our cold front.
Warmest Regards,
Trish
