And Sue..... YOU WON THE GIVEAWAY!
Kim,
Your blog was one of the first I discovered and I have followed it from day one. You continually help warm my heart
in cold and snowy IOWA! I love your style and grace. Thanks for sharing yourself with so many like minded creative souls.
What an amazing give away!!!! Enjoy your heart day!! SUE
Thank you so much Sue! Please email me your mailing address when you get the chance.
I will catch up with your emails over the next few days. I promise. And I hope you had the loveliest of Valentine's Days too. I went to Savannah with my sis and a few friends over the weekend and guess what I saw????
;-)
It was beautiful.
I had a wonderful time BUT someone is very mad at me ...
It seems that we forgot her birthday.
Uh oh.
Signed,
Mean Doggie Mommy
Welcome home! I bet you saw snow?!
Congrats to Sue in Iowa.

Oh precious Maggie. I know she missed you! Speaking of a dog missing a human, I saw the best movie last night. It's called Hachiko http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1028532/. If you ever get a chance to see it, please do! Glad you had a good time though. It's great just to get away sometimes.

Love your post about Maggie. My daughter Olivia and I wait everyday to see if there is a post about her. My daughter is a dog lover and espically loves dachshunds. She calls them pickles or homers. I am allergic to all dogs... so no dogs here. Only sweet dreams of dachshunds here. Thanks for sharing her with us!

Missed you Kim! I have never been to Savannah, it's a long way from California! Happy Birthday Maggie!

Ouch, what a sad puppy. Bet if you give her a treat she'd forget you missed her birthday. Dogs are so forgiving. That's one of their sweet qualities.

Congrats Sue!
Kim,
Doxies are such pouters.
Ours was named Doogie Bowser MD after Doogie Houser MD which was a new TV show at the time we brought wee Doogie home. Our Doogies MD for for Miniature Dashhound. Doogie is now in dog heaven and we miss him. Last night we watched home movies with our family and Doogie was a star.

Our furry friends have also perfected the "abandoned, unloved-look." Heart-melting! I hope you had a wonderful time in Savannah...I've always wanted to visit that lovely city. Happy for you that you got a little break.

Welcome home Kim. Miss Maggie, you get extra special treats for being good while mommy was out playing. Mom's need to get away not only from their kids at times, but from their fur babies too...I know I'll be leaving all my 7 fur babies when I come to Florida. I might get to meet you Miss Maggie and your pretty mama. I'm counting down the sleeps.
Please warm Fla. up for Julie and I. I'm tired of it being cold here in Canada. Tell your mom we were going to Savannah because of all the pretty pictures she posted a while back, but unfortunately it will be St. Patrick's Day... and you know what kind of partying goes on then don't you?? Crazy people drinking green beer. I also hear they turn the river green!! Can you imagine? Well needless to say we will be stopping in Atlanta, Ga. and visiting some very special blogging friends instead.
Have a great week precious Maggie.
Love Claudie

I love your blog and especially seeing pictures of Maggie. I posted some pictures of our Long-Haired Dachshund puppy (6 months old) in my last few "living room" posts. She was my model for my couch. :) We love our Millie SO MUCH. I will never get another breed of dog again. She's perfect. I'm going to post some close-up pictures of her later today and link up to your blog, since we share similar dogs (and design love).
