Thank you.
Jack has read EACH AND EVERY beautiful comment and his heart is so full of gratitude for all of you. I can't even begin to thank you enough for what you so generously gave - which would be YOUR heart.
Dawne sweetly asked:
" Did you ever think when you started this blog that it would so profoundly and deeply touch others lives?"
Well that would be, without a doubt, no. I started the blog on a whim and thought it would be fun to share the little things about Daisy Cottage and of course, Maggie.
But then I met you. And I fell in love.
You complete me.
A movie quote but oh so true.
Yes, I fell in love with YOU.
YOU PROFOUNDLY AND DEEPLY TOUCH MY LIFE.
Thank you from the bottom of MY heart for being THE part of my blog that is beautiful and joyful and all things good. It is NOT me. It is you. If it weren't for YOU, this blog would not be what it is. And what it is is this - a simple place for me to share a few simple things and sometimes not so simple things with THE MOST LOVING, KIND, AND SWEETEST SOULS EVER and yes that would be you.
So please hold my hand as we skip down the sidewalk together. You and me - perfectly flawed and perfectly precious - just like life. And let us never ever forget and always REMEMBER the gift of our Tabatha as we try to remember those things that TRULY ARE important and - yes - as we take the time to stop and smell the roses too.
I love you all,
Kim
KIM,GOD BLESS YOU!!! I LOVE TO COME HERE ,THANKS

like all the others I had tears streaming down my cheeks earlier this afternoon as I read the letter from Jack about his lovely Tabitha.
I hadn't visited Daisy Cottage in many weeks...I like to visit because it gives me a sense of serenity and pretty things like a cup of hot brewed tea in a lovely china teacup with saucer. And I love the music, just like everyone else.
This is why I like blogging, albeit reading them more that writing. It shows the heartbeat of life.
Thanks again, for sharing.

I love you to, Kim! May God embrace Jack, with his everlasting love, and give him the serenity to know that Tabatha is in the loving care of her Father, Our Dear Lord.
God Bless Us Everyone!

Your blog really does make you want to stop and smell the roses. I think it's your appreciation for the small things. It is contagious :).
Posted by: Kristen | February 02, 2010 at 12:12 AM
Yes, it is important to take the time to smell the roses. God also tells us to be still...to know I am God. I believe he wants us to remember to enjoy the beauty of the day, to share time with our loved ones and to never forget that it is the small things in life that are most important.
Thank you for being my friend. For caring...for sharing your heart and soul. God blessed me with you.

Oh, Kim, I just love stopping by to visit you...it's a relaxing moment in the day that reminds me to slow down and enjoy life. It usually takes me awhile to read your blog just because I have to listen to the music. :) THANK YOU for your efforts!

That must have been a very humbeling experience to have the husband express to you how touched his wife was in her last days by your blog! You have a gift, no doubt!

Although I understand what you mean when you say it is your readers who make this blog such a happy place, I must disagree. Your sweet spirit and loving care shine through every posting and draw people to Daisy Cottage again and again. Your kindness attracts like minded people and it makes a community that is a happy place to bring a cup of coffee and spend some time. God bless Jack and I am praying that God will help him and his family through this sad time of mourning for his dear wife.

I love your blog and music too, Tabitha's story is so sad in many ways but hopefully she has found peace. I hope and pray that Jack find the strength and peace from all our messages to help him cope and find solace. Jane x

I totally agree that it is YOU who brings us here. One visit is all it takes to keep coming back. You are one of the first blogs I ever read and you are usually the first every day. As so many have already said, you cheer us up and colour our world "happy"!!!

Sweet Tabitha...and her adoring husband...
It is a comfort here with you Kim...and yes as wonderful as you are Kim...I can see where you back off from any credit...just the person you are...truly a giving and loving soul...i shows in how you share your life and good thoughts of encouragement daily...you don't have to but you do...and as you give us all the credit...I give it right back to you...
As you wrote give me your hand and we'll skip down the sidewalk..and everyday you do just that..you grab all of us and take us with you on a joyful playday...of fun and wonder...
I don't think that I would ever and could ever use the word love so freely...but I do when I say that I love you, Kim...you are a great friend to me...
Hugs,
Oma

Kim, Don't unerestimate yourself. I can only speak for myself but I think many of us were so inspired by your blog that we started our own. Then it just springboarded from there............it's a whole community. And many of us need that a lot.

Kim,
You ever so gently remind me to be the very best version of myself.
God bless...

If you can, listen to Andrea Bocelli's Time to Say Goodbye in honor of Tabatha and Jack. You'll cry, I think but your heart will be so touched..

Yes, Kim, it's true. You do touch us all. I have about 5 or 6 blogs I keep up with (I wish it could be more, but I am a student and don't have alot of time) but your is absolutely my favorite one!

Thank you, Kim, for being such a humble person...giving credit to others when we all in blogland know that if a blog doesn't have a heart it will not flourish. It takes the sum of all and it is so nice to see/read that there really are gentle, kind, and loving people.
