Let Your Home Be Your Heart

  • What I hope for my readers and for all keepers of the nest, is that they embrace their homes with their heart and all of the passion that it holds. I want them to know that they can decorate on a limited budget by seeing things in new ways; by rescuing the broken and transforming the ugly. I hope that they flaunt their favorite color and decorate their life with it. I hope that their homes feel like one giant hug that welcomes them each and every time they walk through their front door. Hi, it's me Maggie...

Quick, run for cover while you can...

Mommy got a new camera from Daddy for Christmas and she is PRACTICING and taking a zillion pictures of everybody and everything and I just wanted to warn you....she may be coming after YOU to take YOUR picture too.  I know she shared my Grandma's desserts earlier today but now she's chasing me everywhere and muttering about how she can't figure out the camera and how she'll never read the manual and someone is going to have to teach her and I just wanted to warn you while she was in the kitchen that you might be seeing some really fuzzy wuzzy wonky pictures for awhile 'till she figures her new camera out.  Let's hope that is soon.

In the meantime, I'm going to be hiding under the sofa 'till she knows what she is doing.
