"My eyes have been opened to a world I never knew existed. Such vibrant creativity, such caring community: it literally takes my breath away. After so much loneliness and isolation it is overwhelming to me that such a world even exists.
In time I hope to be able to fill my garden of life with lovely, loving friends instead of the weeds of loneliness. Until that time lace tablecloths will come out of storage, music and lovely scents will fill the air of this home. And I shall visit the Daisy Cottage when I feel despair raise its dark, obscuring head, for I know from experience, that it is ever lurking behind that next bout of pain and weakness. Your kind and generous response has strengthened my resolve, you have helped me more than you will ever know, my new-found friend." ~ Lenna
LOL!!! hehehe! I will never give her up!! hehehe!

I am laughing at the stack of books. Have almost the same exact ones in a stack by a window, you know what they say about great minds.

Is that a painting of Maggie on the table? in the yellow frame? Very nice. There is a photographer that lives in my small town and she is so amazing. I am planning to take my (5)dogs to this old church we have in town to have their photos taken on the front steps. I love most photos of most dogs...Maggie is one of my favorites.
She should have her own book!
Blessings to you, Kim, in the New Year,

I bet Maggie is under the bed or underneath that red and white check tablecloth! I think I saw her on Facebook mumblining something about how annoying you are with your new camera.
Love the bowl of hearts!

We're in Florida now..but she's not here! Is that a new photo of her?
Posted by: Lavender Dreamer | December 28, 2009 at 08:11 PM
Kim,
I have the feeling Maggie is NOT ready for her close-up. :)
Posted by: jennifer | December 28, 2009 at 08:12 PM
Shhh... she scampered away muttering something like "I might as well make the best of it and go powder my nose for Mommy's pictures. I think what she really wanted to say was "I WOULD RATHER BE CHASING LIZARDS" LOL
Happy New Year Kim and Maggie:)

Please tell us-
What kind of camera did you get?
Laura
Oh- and also let us know when she reappears!
Posted by: Laura | December 28, 2009 at 09:07 PM
Let's see, the last time I saw her she was lounging on a pillow and looking just swell. That was about the time that Fifi took out her brush and created something super special. Me thinks she is hiding under that cute tablecloth just below her cute portrait. ;-)
XO,
Sheila :-)

The word on the street is tht Maggie may have gone into hiding - a protection program, perhaps. She may be right there nearby but you don't recognize her new identity!

She's staying overnight with me here in IN,she left the picture so you'd be sure and miss her! lol

Hi Kim -
Well, I have to be honest, she was over at my house earlier today playing with Bear. Okay...actually she was hiding from you and your new camera, but we sent her home just before dinner time.
Hugs,

You have a few books there. :) Your dog is so darn cute. My daughter wants a dog now that she owns a house but she thinks this kind might be too delicate for her guy. Thanks for sharing. Linda

I really hope she's on her way here to cheer up Zeke, he's a little lonely after the holiday, but is gearing up for the New Year celebration. Whatever Maggie is doing, I know she's spreading much cheer!
