Yesterday was so beautiful and beautiful in EVERY way. The weather was beautiful, The Fancy Flea was beautiful, the sky was beautiful, and the people were beautiful. I spent the day visiting with family, old and dear friends, neighbors who are also my friends, and some of YOU. I can't even begin to express how WONDERFUL it was to meet you and see your sweet faces. I KNEW that I had the BEST readers in Blogland. Thank you for saying hi and for your kindness. It was like meeting family. And of course it was - because you ARE family.
While I spent the majority of the day talking and shopping and basically being very lazy while my friends were working their tables, I did manage to take a few photos to share with you.
So let's enjoy The Fancy Flea ...
By the time I got there, Lori had already sold several of her painted furniture pieces and at the end of the day they were all sold! I LOVED this red dresser ...
This was an awesome mirror too ...
Boo ...
And yes I know - the purse doesn't really "go" but when I went to grab a black purse I realized that they have all been given away! Note to self: Must find a new black purse which probably really means a vintage black purse and I think I want a really big mushy one! ;-)
Do you remember when I shared about these adorable cupcakes? Well, not only is Erica a fabulous baker, she also finds the sweetest vintage treasures and I treated myself to several of them, including the little yellow and white doilies that you see on her table ... (I'm seriously harassing her about starting her own blog - she is also a VERY talented writer)
These are so fun for the garden and the one that says dog is now mine ...
Bent Twig Designs had a beautiful display of fall and Christmas wreaths. I saved their card so that I could contact them one day to see if they would create one for me with lots and lots of daisies! ;-)
Please say hi to Sean & Lisa - you will remember touring their beautiful Spanish bungalow!
As you can see, Sean & Lisa are happily anticipating the arrival of their first baby! I promise to share their nursery with you when it is ready AND they have finally decided to join me in Blogland (I've been pestering them about it FOREVER - yes I am relentless) and you can follow their journey here at their new blog!
Here are a few photos from their table. I hung out here quite a bit during the day while indulging myself with Lisa's stash of Fig Newtons. ;-)
This vintage floral painting is now mine ...
And this was the view behind Sean & Lisa's table - hmmmm, someone very special to me lives there. ;-)
And speaking of someone very special to me - isn't she cute???
Right next to Lisa & Sean's table was gorgeous Nichole's table where her also gorgeous jewelry, magnets, hair pins, and adorable pocket posies were selling like hotcakes! Yay Nichole! I am SO proud of you!
I bought an adorable pocket posy and the red flower magnet is now mine too! :-)
You can treat yourself to Nichole's creations by visiting her Etsy shop.
Shannon and I LOVE her jewelry!
Next to Nichole, was Alicia who had the cutest aprons available for sale!
And this yellow one had to come home with me ...
Alicia can be reached at awonkeydonkey@gmail.com and her website www.awonkeydonkey.com will be coming soon! Her aprons are VERY well made, along with being SO CUTE!
Nicole, of Loladots, had a delightful display of her scrapbook creations. She does not have a site or blog yet, but I encouraged her to do so! (see - I told you I am relentless) If she does one day, I will share her site with you too.
Now these two were SO cute and it was wonderful to meet them! Let me introduce these girls to you ...
Shoshana and Laura ...
And here are a few of the vintage clothes and accessories that they had for sale ...
I should have bought the jacket! Sigh.
I met up with an old friend of mine, Jackie, who used to own a fantastic shop, Monkey Business, here in town. She had these for sale ...
They are really cool, aren't they? It was GREAT seeing you Jackie. You looked marvelous.
It WAS a beautiful day at The Fancy Flea and Lori will be having another one in the spring. And just like spring, I know that her venue will bloom BEAUTIFULLY.
Back in a little bit to announce the winner of Rue's birdhouse! I'll share it here on this post.

Thank you Maria! I love how you call me "Kimberly".... usually I am only referred to that name when I am in trouble (like by my Mom when she would use my whole name) or at the doctor's office.

Kim ... I got to the picture of you and your little black bag and had to comment asap... I love that bag and it is so cute... nice picture of you, too. Later, I have to go stroll through the rest of your post at a leisurely pace... isn't it funny how one thing will catch your eye?? Is it just me... or is it because I am "the bag lady" and I just love bags??

What a beautiful day it WAS! So glad I got to chat for a bit with you. And I was so surprised to scroll down and see Sean's face -- I didn't know his name (or that he had a booth there) but I knew his face from the fact that he and another kind gentleman helped load the huge grain cart table into my car that afternoon over at Angie's shop! Small world! :)
Beautiful pictures, by the way!!
