I'm ready and I know that she's ready ...
We are SO ready for Fall ...
While I appreciate the daily rain and the fact that MOST of our garden flowers are still alive ...
I am really ready to put the umbrellas away and bring home the pumpkins and sweep the leaves!
I hope you have a wonderful Monday! Please come back tomorrow as one of my dearest blogging friends will be doing a special guest post for me!!
xo,
Kim
P.S. If anyone sees Jaybird flying around, please tell her that she won my giveaway! ;-)
I'm ready too!! My daughter and I spent the whole afternoon yesterday bringing fall into my home. Sounds like it is on the way with 69* one evening this week. Yoo hoo! Now we can take those little road trips and enjoy them !

This morning it is lovely and cool. The sun is shinging an dthere is a slight breeze. It's the first day that's felt like fall. I've got all the windows in the house open and letting the fresh air flow through every room. It's wonderful!
Hope you enjoy the day.

Hi Kim,
Fall has been upon us for a bit here in PA. I put all of my fall decorations up the day the children return to school, end of August, it's tradition. They come home that first day and it's a breath of fresh air for them. We will go to several pumpkin farms now that October is on us. I thought I was the only person in my world who loved fall so much. Oh La La there are lots of us!!
My dogs even act differently in the fall, all prancy and silly on their morning outings.
We have a tough couple of days on us here in my world, coming here makes me happy!
Thanks for the great home inspiration and love!
Hugs

Fall is my favorite!!! time of year! I love the colors, the crispness in the air, being able to open the windows and get nice breezes inside, wearing sweaters....I could go on and on. Happy Autumn, Kim!

Ditto! Away with the 100 degree temps, the rain and humidity and bring on the cool breezes and falling leaves!!
The cypress trees here on the lake are beginning to change into every yellow/orange tone on the color wheel...I'll send you some pics. It's like a watercolor painting every single morning!!

Darling Kim, I sooooo want to adopt Miss Maggie !! Living in New Zealand, I cannot express how w o n d e r f u l it feels to be on the edge of Summer. Our winter was cold and miserable. We don't get snow where I live (top of the South Island) but I am more than ready to put those thermals to rest. Our Springs are like an English Spring where the very ground smells sweet and the greens are blindingly vivid. Camellias are flowering now in their hundreds and the Wisteria is delighting us with its lilac blooms. I LOVE hearing how you are all decorating your homes with Pumpkins and are getting ready with those leaf brooms! Adore your blogs and photos, Kim. Hugs for you and pats for Miss M. Love Francesca

Kim, I don't think Maggie was waiting for fall, I think she wants to take a walk. Beautiful shots of your flowers anyway. I really do love that rooster pillow. It should look gorgeous in your home.

I guess I'm ready for fall too, since it's going to get down in the forties tonight! Crazy, considering that the tornado sirens went off last night! Bring on the pumpkins!

FALL???? Did you forget, I know where you live. FALL???? Not for at least another month or maybe two, sorry!!! I can't believe how COLD - BRRR it's been up north ILL & NH all summer. My girlfriend had a fire in the fireplace several times in NH. GADZ - spread some of that coolness (not cold) around!!! Don't forget Kelee's Pet Parade at www.KatillacShack.com tomorrow -- I know Miss Maggie will want to see it. Blessings, Janet
