Slip on your walking shoes and let's go visit Yvonne! She is a friend and neighbor of mine and am I ever thankful for that! She's a girl's girl and we have the best of times when we are all hanging out together. Yvonne wears SO many hats - a mother, daughter, sister, wife, grandmother, preschool teacher, AND she is a wonderful nurturer. She is always caring for others. She is a generous, loving spirit.
One of the many reasons why Yvonne's home is a favorite of mine is because her love for her home is displayed with the same passion that she has for life. She has lovingly layered every corner with her favorite things - and all on a budget! She is a thrift and yard sale girl too and has decorated her 1920's bungalow with her wonderful finds.
Let's step inside, shall we?
Oh and I promise not to be too chatty and I'll just let you look. Yvonne is VERY excited to have you here today.
Enjoy!
The living room ...
The sun porch - otherwise known as "the princess room" as it is where Yvonne's mother and mother-in-law stay when they visit ...
Yvonne's little love - Ava ...
the dining room ...
the hall bathroom ...
and my favorite room in Yvonne's home - the kitchen ...
Yes, I love love love Yvonne's kitchen!!
I hope you enjoyed visiting Yvonne too - I can't thank her enough for opening her home to all of you!
Thank you Yvonne!!!
Oh, and would you like for me to share MORE of my friends' homes with you? If so, I've already put in a few requests.

Have a beautiful day everyone!!!

Another great field trip! Please thank Yvonne for sharing her home with us. And, yes I'd love to see more as well. It's so much fun seeing how other people live and their choice of decor.
Yvonne's home emits warmth, comfy cozy charming vintage and oh so lovely. I adore the Renoir painting on the mantel, very classy. I love her collection of toile in many patterns and colors, the black 'n white boxes in the bathroom caught my eye and that adorable white plate with red purse...so cute! The kitchen is amazing.
Thanks Kim for taking us with you and sharing another colorful tour!!

Okay. Let's begin. Ava. I love her...bunches. Now, where do I begin? Like your home, Yvonne's is so full of color, happiness, warmth and magic. I loved every single nook and cranny. This is a home that is unique and lively and full of interest, and better yet, heart.
Thanks for the tour Kim and thank Yvonne for us. What a joy.

Yvonne, what a sweet piece of heaven you have there. And Kim, stunning photos. I have several wood pieces which I love the warmth of the wood, but every time I see painted wood pieces, my heart goes pitter patter. Thanks for sharing ladies, loved the tour. Take care

Yvonne's home, what a precious treat!!! I loved all the rooms, they were a joy to the eye, it started the minute you walked on the porch... I think my favorite was the bathroom but all gave a perfect end to a day for me. Decorating is my passion and what a treat to find others who also love their homes.
Definitely give us more tours and more rooms. Each one has been an inspiration. My dream has always been to move my grandmothers house to where I'm living, decorate and live in her forever. I have a love affair w/old homes and these were some of the best I've ever seen.
Thank you for sharing and for the ladies giving us a chance to have see through the looking glass not only these lovely homes but the beautiful friendships you share. All warms the heart.
Blessings,
Debby
