I look forward to sharing some of THE CUTEST things that I have received in the mail from some of THE CUTEST bloggers - ever - this week.
Today, I want to share with you about my friend, Terry Grahl, and her amazing and heartwarming mission in life ...
You can read all about Terry here and here and here. I think your heart will be as touched as mine at ALL of the wonderful things that are happening as a result of Terry's incredible vision. It IS amazing, isn't it?
And our friend, Brenda, is having a VERY special giveaway that I think you will enjoy participating in and she is sharing more about Enchanted Makeovers here as she is the official Social Media Blogging Specialist for the organization! Yay Brenda!!
As women, we wear so many hats. We ALL have gifts to share. And how is that so?
Because our life is a gift and it is meant to be opened.
And celebrated ... and shared ...
Even if it is just one cookie at a time.
Because, of course, we want EVERYONE to live ...
So pretty please with sugar on top, visit Terry and Brenda when you have the chance and if you can, share a warm cookie and a glass of milk OR a little something-something from your heart to help make a sister-in-need's heart blissfully happy too.
And again, thank YOU for always making MY heart soar.
I can't imagine life without you.
Love you MUCH,
Kim
Bless you, Kim, for your efforts to help women from all over the world. From helping them to decorate their homes through your magazine writing...to blogging about your lovely home and colorful finds on a regular basis. You were my inspiration, and continue to be. Thanks for leading me to Enchanted Makeovers. And for being "an always friend" to me and all the women who love and follow you on your everyday journey.

Enchanted Makeovers: What a lovely environment for people who find themselves displaced. Thank you, Kim, for sharing such a neat story. We should all take risks like she did, becoming uncomfortable in order to make other lives more comfortable.

Good morning Kim :)
Congratulations to Traci! Lucky girl :)
I can't remember where in my life I've seen that glass next to the yummy cookie, but it takes me back to my childhood. My grandma must have had something similar... hmmm..
Anyway, I'm off to visit Brenda...
love you,

Kim, You are an amazing lady. One of the reasons that I started blogging was out of loneliness. I had just moved to a new city a long way away from home and with a busy husband I spend much of my time alone or helping people who take and take but give nothing back. I saw what a great bunch of "friends" you had made through your blog and I longed to be in touch with people who seemed to care. It is a slow process, as making friends always is, but I am happy that it is coming along. I appreciate your kinds words and I love reading the comments that people leave you. You are truly a wonderful lady. Big hugs, ~cindy s~

Hi Elyse!
The glass is one of four that I found at Goodwill - it is cute isn't it? :-)
And it is vintage for sure!

I know how you feel about the letters. My mom passed away about 6 years ago. Every time I see the card she gave me signed"Love you, Mom" I just remember how much I love and miss her.
