These little itty bitty chairs ...
that I have collected here and there ...
will be SO perfect for my dollhouse IF I ever worked on it and finished it. Poor, poor chairs.
I know - let's just pretend that WE are sitting there.
;-)

Where in the world do you find those darling chairs? I've never seen anything like them. Maybe I just don't know where to look.

I like the pink print one :-)
Kim, I was treasure hunting this afternoon & every so often I'd spy some happy thing that immediately reminded me of Daisy Cottage. I told my shopping friend "I bet she's rearranging, photographing pretty things to share, & loving on that sweet home right this instant."
Wishing you wonderful weekend.

A dollhouse???? I didn't know you have a dollhouse! I have one put away (was my daughter's but she never liked it that much). PLEASE don't motivate me to pull itout and start (yet another) project. But those chairs are SO CUTE!!!

Love the chairs! I've always been drawn to tiny things. I used to have a dollhouse, but it never got past the packaging. I sometimes regret not ever building it.

May I sit in the one with the lovely fringe? I'm thinking that has to be the best seat in the house!

Hi sweet Kim :)
I would love to sit in that itty bitty one with the stripes and flowers. Can you save that seat for me? I might have to shrink a little more to fit though ;)
Have a wonderful weekend!
love you,

These remind me of my grandma's pin cushion. I think I'll make a blog of it. Thanks for the idea. Give Maggie a smooch.

How cute! I've thought about buying one of those dollhouse kits at Hobby Lobby, but don't really know where I'd put it. Is that what you have, a boxed dollhouse kit? It would be so much fun to build and decorate.

KIM...oh my goodness girl I've been looking for little chairs like that forever. Where oh where have you gotten them from?

Your itty bitty chairs and your comment about sitting in them reminded me of a TV program I watched as a child. It was called The Friendly Giant ~ the opening scene was of a living room area filled with tiny chairs for the viewers to sit in while visiting the giant. Hard to explain but a wonderful memory!
Thanks for the reminder!
Your chairs are SO sweet!

I put together a doll house years ago and then had it electrified. My granddaughter loves it and she loves playing with the little chairs and furniture and accessories. They are so fun to play with and decorate!

Those are simply the prettiest little chairs I've ever seen. We could all have a wonderful little visit with these for seating, couldn't we?

Adorable!! cutest little chairs. YOU have a dollhouse too. Will it be a replica of Daisy Cottage, any particular style, era?
I've had my (new) dollhouse since last Oct and for the past few months I'm painting, shingling, and ordering oodles of stuff. Had most of my furniture stored for 13 yrs and its still appropriate for the 1940-50's period I'm going for. I go nuts over the sweet mini treasures I find. An expensive hobby for sure :)

You can see it on my blog though. Have fun-- wish I could come over for tea and sit in one of those cozy little chairs!

Hi Kim,
What precious little chairs. I collect teddybears and it would be perfect to seat one of them in a pretty little chair like that. Where can I find them?

How cute, the chairs are! I have been talking to hubby about getting a dollhouse, it would be cheaper (maybe a little) than redecorating my house!

When my daughter was working on a Bachelor's degree in Interior Desigh, I found the most interesting "chairs" that were Christmas ornaments.
If I remember (for it has now been over ten years), they were pewter. The design was so intricate that you knew a very tiny person... perhaps a fairy?... would be happy to use them as part of their furnishings.
I purchased one of each kind, even though I normally only gave her one new ornament each year. They are still precious to her.
I'm afraid her daughters would "borrow" such beautiful chairs as yours to use with dolls.
