While I miss having Vintage right around the corner from me, I am really happy that it is now a hip & happenin' part of our wonderful downtown!
If you have a minute, slip on your walking shoes, come with me, and let's enjoy the Vintage vibe together! I won't be chatty - I'll let you browse and simply enjoy... (although that little green fan over there is calling my name)
;-)
That was fun! Thank you for going with me to Vintage! You may also visit their website here. If you have the chance to visit the store in person, please tell Angie that I sent you! She'd love to meet you!
Hmm.... if you'd like a luscious bar of French soap from Vintage, please leave a comment on this post, and I'll get one to give away to one of you! I'll pluck the winning name from my vintage daisy hat on, let's see.. how about Friday?
I have these soaps too and they ARE heavenly. Oh, and you never know what else I might put in your bag! I love to shop for you! Maybe I'll tuck in a tea towel, or a candle, or some note cards, or .... ;-)
Stay tuned for more downtown fun ... lots of places to go and see and of course I'll be taking YOU along with me!
xo,
Kim
Hi Kim,
Loved the walk and the shopping and I didn't spend a dime! I would have if I really had been with you. We would've needed a truck to load up all the things I would have bought! Thanks for taking me with you and saving me a few bucks!

Hey Kim,
I sure enjoyed this little shopping trip and the soap was what caught my eye. Maybe I will be lucky!
I am excited to have my Etsy store(www.marcychapman.etsy.com) finally up and running. This took me just about as long as it did to get my blog up and going. A REAL computer whiz - NOT. Anyhow I feel accomplished as I was able to do it myself. Now for lots of inventory - paint, paint, paint. I am going to have my first Giveaway soon. Glad to see all going well with you. Since you post so frequently, I feel we really are in touch and that is so enjoyable. Hugs, Marcy

Posted by: Maime | June 02, 2009 at 11:19 PM
That store is truly special. It's the kind of store that brings memories, and makes new ones. That floral chair really had such a great personality, and could tell a few stories, I'm sure!
The headboard outside, that was made into a sign with chalkboard paint was so clever, too!
I love that people open stores such as that, and bring magic into the lives of ordinary people like us. Just too sweet!
Cheers, Susan
