Thank you ALL so much for visiting Kelee! She's pretty darn SPECIAL and amazing, isn't she? I know that I am feeling very inspired, that's for sure! You are ALL pretty darn special and amazing in my book! You are the bestest of the best!! Thank you for your generous and kind comments over at her place too - remember kiddos - right back at YOU. ((((((hugs))))))
Speaking of books ...
My oh-so-talented sister, Jill, whipped these ADORABLE book cozies up just for me, and Daisy Cottage, of course. ;-)
She cleverly created the cozies out of bits and pieces of fabric remnants that she had collected. I LOVE them!! They slip on easily over the books!
Look at the cute inside "flaps" ...
Thank you Jill! They are SO fun, I'm definitely going to want more!! I promise to keep my eye out for fabulous fabric for your collection. See how thoughtful and helpful I am? ;-) Yes, I have the BEST sister in the whole world.
Well, I think I'm going to unwind a bit and cozy up with my new book cozies and a cup of hot coffee.
For those of you who haven't had the chance to visit The Katillac Shack, go ahead and knock on Kelee's door - she'll be so happy to meet you too!
Thank you again for being the SWEETHEARTS that you are!!!!
XO,
Kim
P.S.
Don't miss THIS LOVE LETTER - someone has a serious crush!
Hi Kim,
I cannot believe I am the first to comment on your new entry!! The book cozies are too cute. It makes me want to make some for my favorite books. I always get inspiration when I visit Daisy Cottage. You have a very special sister that would take the time to make things for you. You're a lucky gal. Come visit my page and see the new pillow I made when you get time.
Blessings,
Patty

These book covers are very cute. I have already decided to make some for the books in bedroom, including Bible, so that I don't have so many dark colours around. If you want some gorgeous fabric I am having a giveaway including possibly teatowels which would make lovely covers. Cherrie

Did your sister have a pattern for the book covers? If not would she share the directions? I would love to make a few as gifts for some family and friends. (I will not be selling them) Thank you for the wonderful read. Your blog and Miss Maggie always make me smile. I am the 'mother' of 5 beautiful girls myself. Doxies are great. I own 2. Blessings.
