Let Your Home Be Your Heart
- What I hope for my readers and for all keepers of the nest, is that they embrace their homes with their heart and all of the passion that it holds. I want them to know that they can decorate on a limited budget by seeing things in new ways; by rescuing the broken and transforming the ugly. I hope that they flaunt their favorite color and decorate their life with it. I hope that their homes feel like one giant hug that welcomes them each and every time they walk through their front door. More than anything I want everyone to have their own home-sweet-home dream come true! xo, Kim

She Thanks You...
She thanks you SO much for ALL of your wonderful advice on how to fix her itchies! And, of course, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for each and every suggestion and for your VERY helpful emails too! We've learned of new products and foods to try - thanks to YOU! I printed out all of your tips and plan on trying EACH one until we find the answer for Maggie!
Maggie only eats a special dog food for allergies. Benadryl doesn't help her. We've tried adding the fish oil in the past and that didn't help her either. She's been through the steroid treatments and is on flea prevention and doesn't have any at this time. We will go BACK to the vet, once again, and have her allergy tested. I think it might be environmental. I sure hope she isn't allergic to Daisy Cottage...
Or to her hairy, but oh so sweet brother...
Whatever it is, I hope that we find a resolution SOON, because honestly, Maggie is the most loving dog and I hate to see her be miserable...
So thank you again for your GENEROUS help and for loving Maggie too. She's a lucky, lucky dog to have you - even if she does have the itchies.

Poor Girl
Maggie has the itchies...
Again.
We've tried it ALL. The medicine, the shampoos, the special food - we've tried
E V E R Y T H I N G.
She won't stop scratching and biting.
Sigh.
Any advice? She's miserable!

I Can't Say...
I can't say that I made this delicious dessert.
I CAN say that I ate it. And I can say that I ate the whole thing.
And it was heavenly. Every single bite.
I can also say that I have just completed categorizing 403, 404 Dear Daisy Cottage blog posts! For some reason, I never thought to do that when I set up my blog.
I hope this will be helpful to you, my sweet-as-pie readers, and enable you to find things a little more easily around here. The categories are over there on the right sidebar, underneath the archives, for you to click on if you so desire.
Now I need to go burn off some sugar....
