My sister and I spent the day in St. Petersburg, Florida, yesterday visiting this lovely neighborhood again for their annual home tour...
The weather was gorgeous and perfect for strolling the neighborhood as this couple was doing...
If you haven't gone on any historic home tours before, I hope that you do one day - they are really fun to do and the generous homeowners are SO welcoming - especially the homeowners of this beautiful home...
The lady of the house, Susan Donathan, kindly allowed me to take a few photos to share with you...
She is an artist and paints beautiful home and garden portraits...
She doesn't have a website yet, BUT if you would like to contact her about doing a portrait of YOUR home, you may at artsy612@hotmail.com ....
I could have spent the day at the charming Donathan home, but we said our goodbyes, walked through their garden gate and continued on our tour ...
Shhhh, let's not tell Maggie that these doxies got to go on the tour with their mommy, okay?
Look - cars in my favorite colors! ;-)
And speaking of color....
It was everywhere -
We thought this was fun....
We worked up an appetite, of course, and treated ourselves to a late lunch at a local deli...
And, oh my gosh - it was GOOD!!!!
We then did a little bit of window shopping in some local shops.
It was a WONDERFUL DAY and it flew by. Before we knew it, it was time to head home...
But as always, we took home sweet inspiration from this charming neighborhood and its' generous residents to hold us over 'till next time! Thank you Kenwood!
And thank YOU for going along with me.....
xo,
Kim
Oh, how I love each and every photo. What a delightful way to spend the day.

It looks like a wonderful day, and spending it with your sister had to make it even better. Love all the pictures of the first home you went through. The house with all the colors had to be the more modern one I think. Thanks for the walk down the street and in the homes. I enjoyed it so.

Thank you Kim for taking us on the tour with you. I adore all the French toile used and the adorable little bunny lamp sitting on that dresser.

Hi Kim!!! You were in my neighborhood!!! And one of the homes on the tour was right across the street from me! My hubby and I were also on the tour. I loved the Donathan home the best. By the time I got there she had a problem with people taking pictures inside her home. I overheard her complaining about it so I did not even ask or try. I was delighted to see your gorgeous pictures. I loved her decorating style and her kitchen was to die for! So glad you enjoyed the tour....wish I had passed you on a sidewalk because I think I would have known you!! ~ xoxo Joy

Fun tour, Kim! And oh, how I want that pool! The picture made you want to dive on in and swim about twenty laps or at least float on a raft. ;-)
Cute doxies and cute bugs. Glad you had fun.
I have a friend over there who used to have a house with a secret room. It was the coolest thing ever.

The green in your post may possibly get me through the month of November! In this frigid-land-called-Indiana our color is almost gone and I'm missing it terribly!
I'm loving the bingo balls ala flower vase. Have to try that!

Take care!

Hello from Delaware! Thank you for sharing your photos. I love BungalowFest but this year I couldn't come. :( I missed being part of such a great event. I was there in spirit however, I wore my t-shirt from last year's event all day on Saturday. My mom, CeCe Keeton, said it was the best she's seen. I miss everyone and I'll see you in December. xoxo
