Dear Friends,
Has it really been two years since I sat down at the computer and wrote my first blog for Dear Daisy Cottage?
Well indeed it has, and my journey through Blogland has been a beautiful one - because of you.
I have traveled to the sweetest places when I have visited your sites, and I have received so much more from you than you have EVER received from me. You will never know the amount of joy that you have added to my life, but I promise you that you have. You have inspired me every single day. You have lifted my spirits every single day. You have been like twinkling stars - brilliant points of light that I have looked up to and greatly admired. I am so grateful for each and every one of you.
Thank you for your kindness - your inspiration - your generosity - and for your time. Thank you for your comments - your emails - your letters - and for your gifts. Thank you for sharing a part of your lives with me. Sweet, gentle souls you all are. The world is even more beautiful because you are in it.
I don't know what the future will hold for me, but I sincerely hope that it will hold YOU close, and I also hope that it is okay if I keep you with me - tucked within my heart.
To celebrate Dear Daisy Cottage's two year anniversary, I am having a GIVEAWAY! The following will be wrapped and put inside a box and given away to one of you, in honor of ALL of you.
A vintage star pin, that I got from Vintage - just for you, and a brand new journal that is waiting for YOUR thoughts....
A sweet little bird, who is ready to fly away to your house...
A little floral oil painting that someone created with love...
A small glass cloche...
A pretty vintage candlestick and saucer ....
And last, but definitely NOT least, a special anniversary edition of one of my favorite books - A Gift From The Sea!
This Giveaway is a VERY small token of my appreciation for all of your blog support. If you would like the chance to win, please leave a comment on this post - even if it is your first time to do so - and I will draw the winning name at midnight, Eastern Time, on September 30th.
I'll be back on October 1st, but in the meantime....
When you wish upon a star
Makes NO difference who you are
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you.
If your heart is in your dream
No request is too extreme
When you wish upon a star
As dreamers do.
Like a bolt out of the blue
Fate steps in and sees you through
When you wish upon a star
Your dreams come true.

Thank you for everything! Thank you for being YOU!
Love,
Kim
