What I hope for my readers and for all keepers of the nest, is that they embrace their homes with their heart and all of the passion that it holds. I want them to know that they can decorate on a limited budget by seeing things in new ways; by rescuing the broken and transforming the ugly. I hope that they flaunt their favorite color and decorate their life with it. I hope that their homes feel like one giant hug that welcomes them each and every time they walk through their front door. More than anything I want everyone to have their own home-sweet-home dream come true! xo, Kim

I love yellow too. I know this is something that we have in common. But I think you got me beat. I do not have a yellow laptop. That is bright yellow. I love it. Yellow and red complement each other so well. Love the textures and the designs that you use too. Have a wonderful day!

Hi Kim,
I just finished some embroidery tea towels -the towels are yellow and I put some red checkered trim on them. I said to myself, hum, this is so pretty and reminds me of something. It was your lovely home - the yellow and red said "Kim"!

Your giveaway was fun! Your pictures are so beautiful and the music is soothing. Ahh.

I came across a golden bird in a garden shop today after work. They also had a large black wooden "V"...They're coming to my cottage where I have a gold bedroom with black furniture along with accents of blue and some red. I honestly wouldn't have allowed myself to notice these beautiful items if I hadn't been so inspired by you. Thank you Kim!

Congrats to the lucky winners!! I love the color of your laptop! The curtain on the cabinet in that photo reminds me of the closets my sister and I had in our bedroom when I was young. We didn't have doors on them (it was a really old house, and I think my dad just sorta "made" closets for us)so mom put gathered curtains on them. Sweet memories.
