Happy May!
You know, I have determined that IF I didn't live in a yellow house, I would have to live in a PINK house! And it would have flowers blooming in the gardens like these....
Yesterday, lucky lucky me, got to spend the day with Rhoda! She is just adorable AND loves to do the same things that I do... and yesterday we did several of those things - shopping, talking AND eating! We visited several shops that Rhoda will share on her blog, Southern Hospitality, AND we stopped and smelled the roses at this delightful tea room -
And as if this place wasn't SWEET enough, we treated ourselves to one of these delicious desserts too......
Sigh. What a WONDERFUL day ... thank you Rhoda for the extra sweet memories! Friends Forever!
xo,
Kim
Beautiful friends sharing a gorgeous day......priceless! Love the photos of the tea room. How charming!

Good morning sweet Kim :)
It sounds like you both had a wonderful time. It's been so much fun reading about your outings here and at Rhoda's blog. That tea room is not only darling, but the menu looks absolutely scrumptious :)
Have a beautiful day...

Sounds like a lovely day. Every time I think of the name Rhoda, a name I seldom hear, I think of that TV show! Is she like that Rhoda? Anyway, what's more fun than a day with a girlfriend, lovely flowers, and a sweet little place to have lunch? Can't get much better than that, Kim.

Hello Kim,
Sounds like you had a lovely visit with your friend. What a lovely place to visit and spend time and the lunch menu looks wonderful. Yes, I would love to have a little pink cottage. My first home we painted a soft pink rose color. I still call it my little pink house. I do now have pink as one of my trim colors on my green
house. Thank for sharing your lovely day Pinkie Denise

Hi Kim,
What beautiful photos. Sounds like you ladies had a blast while out and about.
Gee, I think I would have ordered the Cream of Asparagus soup - yummy!
So, what dessert did you have?
Happy May Day, Kim!

Hi Kim
What an adorable pink place. My house is yellow too but if I could I would paint it pink and have light aqua shutters. Hubby probably wouldn't agree but a girl can dream can't she. You had the best day, my favorite kind to have, eating and shopping. Thanks for the beautiful photos and I will be sure and check Rhoda's blog out. Happy May Day!
Hugs,
LeAnn :)

~ Good day Kim,
Your pictures of the pretty pink house, Lavender and Lace, and those mouth watering desserts were so easy on the eye this morning!!!! Thank you so much for your talent and ablity to capture so many "precious moments" for all of us to see. It really brightens and shines my days. Even when it's not so sunny or warm out here in upstate New York. Enjoy !

Aw, i'd love to have a tearoom! How lucky you have such a pretty one nearby!
Do you know we almost bought a pink victorian house before we bought the one we ended up with. It was called the Barbie house by the kids in the neighborhood! LOL!

Accidentally posted my "pink house" comment on your "yellow daisy lampshade" post, so I'll add here, where it correctly belongs, that your photography is so so beautiful. Your posts are always so chock-full of pix. You inspire me to be a little more word-conservative on my posts and amp up the use of photos. Makes for such a lovely visit to your blog.

It is so wonderful that the two of you have been able to spend time together.
Lavender and Lace looks absolutely delightful. We have a fine linen store here by that name, and it is wonderful, too.
I can't think of anything more perfect than a pink or yellow house.

HI Kim...what a delightful little tea room! The tea houses in my city have all closed up for one reason or another and I certainly miss going there. These photos remind me of some sweet moments with my girls.

I like your yellow house and I dream of a front porch.
My husband and I pastor a church in WV.
I am a mommy of 2 children. CK out my site, I am adding you to my favorites.

hmm.. it's nice, but you know, it's really floofy. i know that's the style they're going for, but it's OVER THE TOP. and your place is perfect... for me. i love all the red you use in it. and yellow is a sunny bright colour, but it's not so incredibly feminine that it hurts. you know?
