Okay, let's get back to our shopping in wonderful Savannah!
Savannah is home to the Savannah College of Art and Design...
ShopSCAD is a fabulous store, featuring art and designs of the students, staff, and alumni of the college. Let's go in, shall we?
Oh to be that talented! I loved seeing these students all over Savannah and their artistry is represented everywhere. Very inspirational!
Time to walk down another street.....
Hmmm - this reminds me of home! ;-)
I must bring my daughter to Savannah - she will LOVE these shops!
Take a look with me...
I LOVE the vintage dresses - the colors are sooo fun!
Well I'm ready for another cup of coffee - how about you?
This looks like a cute place to try!
To be continued.......
Shopscad is a great idea! What inspiration must be there.
That coffee shop looks adorable Kim. I love the painted vintage hangig window.

Love, love it all. We always tease Gracie that she will have to attend SCAD...she loves art and design so it would be a great fit right? And it would give us the excuse to return to Savannah A LOT!!!

I just found a beautiful antique french settee just like the one in your photo on Craigslist for only $125! It needs to be reupholstered and I would have done it in off white just like that one if only I had room for it. It's frustrating to let a deal like that go!
I love looking at all your photos! I almost feel like I've been there myself!

Kim, would love to see the college shop in person. It would be very interesting seeing the artwork of the students, in person. It looks wonderful in the photos!

Your blog is like eye candy! I love Savannah and recognize a few of the shops in your pictures. My husband tried to talk me into an impromptu visit up there this weekend but I nixed the idea. I really regret it now!

Kim, Tell me that you got to Vintage General on Broughton. It's just about the prettiest store I have ever seen.

Oh how I have enjoyed catching up here today. I absolutley LOVE Savannah and you have captured it so well. The shopping is fabulous and the displays are all so inspirational. Did you dine at Lady and Son? My first introduction to true Southern food! I have such fond memories of my last visit-- passing student housing and seeing SCAD students hanging out of open windows! Of course we have SCAD here but it's not quite the same as that setting! Thanks for the great photos Kim! You always share so generously!

Hi Kim! Thank you so much for all the wonderful photos of Savannah. One of my most favorite places on earth. My sister-in-law and her husband are there right now for the weekend. They had never been to Savannah, so I gave her your blog link so she could get a peek before her trip. She loved your site and the pictures. So this week, you've been like our own personal travel agent! Thanks for posting such lovely photos. Have a great weekend. xoxo ~ Joy J.

Hi sweet Kim :)
My Annie would love shopSCAD. She wants to be an artist when she grows up :) What a wonderful learning environment they have.
The vintage shops there remind me of Melrose out in California. Those dresses are darling!
Thank you for writing those encouraging words to me about the farmhouse. You brought tears of hope to my eyes as I read them. You'll never know how much that meant to me. Thank you too for ALWAYS being so sweet to me. I'm so glad I found you and Daisy Cottage :)
Love and hugs,

I'm so glad you enjoyed our city! Your pictures surely did it justice.
The SCAD store is amazing.... so much
creativity.
One of our favorite things to do on the weekends is to go to the Candy Kitchen and catch the flying fresh taffy- then enjoy a picnic lunch in Forsyth park.
Savannah is a beautiful city- Hope everyone who wants to visit DOES!
