Let Your Home Be Your Heart
- What I hope for my readers and for all keepers of the nest, is that they embrace their homes with their heart and all of the passion that it holds. I want them to know that they can decorate on a limited budget by seeing things in new ways; by rescuing the broken and transforming the ugly. I hope that they flaunt their favorite color and decorate their life with it. I hope that their homes feel like one giant hug that welcomes them each and every time they walk through their front door. Pinklicious
Is that a word? I think it can be... ;-)
I'm back from Savannah, and as soon as my tummy settles down from ALL of the delicious food that I devoured, I will share my photos from the trip. This pink Eiffel tower sugar cookie was THE BEST sugar cookie I have EVER had - oh yum! I can't wait to share about this store that sold them..
And one of the best dinners that I have ever had was served in this pink house....

Easy Eggs
Happy Weekend!
I thought I'd make these easy oven eggs for breakfast this morning. Being the health conscious family that we are - we usually have lots of fresh eggs, butter, sour cream, and shredded cheese on hand which makes whipping these up simple to do! ;-)
Easy Oven Eggs
8 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
salt & pepper to taste
1 tablespoon melted butter
Beat eggs well and blend in sour cream. Stir in cheese. Add salt and pepper. Pour into a buttered 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Drizzle melted butter on top. Bake @ 325 degrees for about 20 minutes or until the center is firm.
While you wait on the eggs, have fun making your toast and help yourself to another cup of coffee.....
Soon, your eggs will be done, and your tummy will be satisfied...

Blue It Is AND Lovely Gifts To Share!
You are THE BEST! Thank you for your generous input on whether or not to paint the blue table red... I will leave it blue - and think of YOU, whenever I glance its' way! (((hugs))) I think it will be fun for spring and summer, and like many of you suggested - I can easily paint it if the mood strikes! You are all so smart! :-)

The Little Blue Table That Could
When Rhoda was here, we went to my favorite consignment shop and we saw this little blue table. I thought it might be the perfect one to go beside our yellow chair in the living room. I didn't get it though - I left it behind.
A couple of days later, as I was sweeping up hairballs beside the yellow chair, I realized that the little blue table COULD go perfectly in the living room, so I went back to the shop, hoping it would still be there - and it was! The sweet salesperson even reduced its' already low price!
Now my question for you is - should the table stay blue or would it look better in red?
I think I'm liking the punch of blue ......
