  • What I hope for my readers and for all keepers of the nest, is that they embrace their homes with their heart and all of the passion that it holds. I want them to know that they can decorate on a limited budget by seeing things in new ways; by rescuing the broken and transforming the ugly. I hope that they flaunt their favorite color and decorate their life with it. I hope that their homes feel like one giant hug that welcomes them each and every time they walk through their front door. Blue It Is AND Lovely Gifts To Share!

You are THE BEST!  Thank you for your generous input on whether or not to paint the blue table red... I will leave it blue - and think of YOU, whenever I glance its' way! (((hugs))) I think it will be fun for spring and summer, and like many of you suggested - I can easily paint it if the mood strikes! You are all so smart! :-)

Susannah's kind grandmother, Brook, wrote me and expressed how Susannah was inspired to sew a bowlful of hearts for her bedroom after reading my posts about them. She sweetly wanted to make one for me too and I think she did a FABULOUS job! Susannah, I love your pretty yellow heart VERY much! Your grandmother told me that you dream of having your own "Daisy Cottage" one day and you know what? Something tells me that YOU WILL! Thank you sweetie for making my heart sing!
