I'd like for you to meet some of my feathered friends who live nearby.
They are beautiful and charming. I love spending time with them.
And they love visitors! They are really happy that I brought you too...
They hope that you will come back to visit them again soon .......
AND as a token of their friendship - they left this treasure for YOU...
Sometimes the little things in life hold so much beauty. We must remind ourselves daily to stop and appreciate that something like a swan can bring a smile to our face. It brought one to me today and for that once again Daisy Cottage I thank you! Much love and peace, Carey.

Swans have such elegance to them. When I was a child my Mother's friend would make a swan out of snow. We thought that was the coolest thing. She was the kind of friend that brought elegance to everyday living and reminds me alot of you.

Beautiful swan! The gulls have returned to the lake. They leave when the weather warms, for some reason. We should be at the lake now, enjoying them!

I enjoyed your picture story very much. What elegant creatures! (Well the swans anyway...the seagulls are feisty creatures.)

I have that wonderful swan ornament you sent me so that reminds me of you every time I see it. There is a place on Cape Cod we go to that has swans and I just love seeing them every time we are there. They are so lovely and graceful.

The second swan photo takes my breath away! The swan is beautiful AND the water looks like liquid satin. So pretty. You should frame it! I have been here long enough for "Theme from a Summer Place" to begin playing. I love that, too! I wish someone would write and play music like that again.

Thank you for that stroll down memory lane. One of the memories I cherish most from my son's childhood was watching him and his "Nana" explore "swan lake" together. When parents pass on and children grow up, it's comforting to know that maybe some day MY grandchildren will be able to explore "swan lake" with their Nana!
Blessings,

Kim, Lovely, lovely photos of such beautiful creatures. There is a field about 45 minutes from where I live where a flock of swans have been wintering. I am not sure why or where they came from. What a gorgeous sight though!! Thanks for the eye candy. Hugs, Cindy

The swans and the water look so pretty.
Hmm, the water in my neck of the woods is iced over. Temps? 1-degree below zero today. Brrr.
This really makes me ready for warmer weather.

Thank you for a gorgeous tour. I especially enjoyed the swans, and the picture of the feather together with Moon River playing, made the tears come out. It was my MIL favorite song, she passed last year, but the picture of the feater is just so beautiful.
Thanks for sharing with all of us.
