No Christmas decorating going on here at Daisy Cottage - yet..
But some aqua tole tray love is going on!
And I love how the little flowers on the vintage hanky seem to imitate the painted flower on the tray - yep, just LOVE it when that happens! ;-)
Thank you ALL for your sweet comments about my family - and my Mom thanks you very much too! :-)
That is a beautiful tray! I really love the cup and saucer too. It's so dainty.

Glad to hear I am not the only one who hasn't started decorating. I have to say, though, that I can't wait to see Daisy Cottage all decked out in holiday finery.

I love the teacup and saucer. What is the pattern?
The colors of the tray, hanky, and cup and saucer remind me that we will all be looking forward to spring once winter is gone.

No Christmas decorating going on here at the moment either. Since we are planning on being in Florida for the holidays I am debating as to what to do about holiday decorating. Love your cute tray and vintage hankie.

Gorgeous tray-really lovely photo! I took advantage of the strong boys at Thanksgiving, and had them bring the Christmas boxes down from the attic...but that's as far as I've gotten with the decorating!

I'm so with you on not decorating yet--although in my case it's because I'm way not ready. But that tole tray is GORGEOUS! I really need to get one. ebay here I come!

Hi Kim,
What a pretty toleware tray! I have been on the hunt for a red tray like that.
I just love the way the flowers on your napkins repeat the pattern. Christmas has landed at my place, everything is pretty much up and out with the exception of the tree :)

Absolutely beautiful, you have a great gift for styling. I can't decorate this year because of my foot surgery so I am looking forward to your holiday decorating to keep me in the spirit.

Pretty tray. Is it vintage? I can never seem to find painted tole trays!
Posted by: brandy | November 27, 2007 at 09:22 PM
Oh how perfect, the daises on both!
I have started decorating, but I leave out a pink patterned teapot and cup with saucer, a pastel patchwork place mat, and an ivory colored tray...to use to treat myself when I need a break from all the holiday "stuff".
You have a lovely home. I'm glad I found your blog!
