I'm so happy that you enjoyed touring Historic Kenwood with me! And wasn't it beautiful out on The Pier? I'm glad we decided to walk instead of taking the trolley...
We wouldn't have been able to spend quality time with beautiful Tampa Bay if we had...
By the time that we got to the top of The Pier, and seated in the Columbia Restaurant, we were definitely thirsty and ready for lunch....
It was so nice going over our tour notes while munching on warm bread that was straight out of the oven, wasn't it? And the chicken and yellow rice that I had was yummy! Maybe it all tasted extra good because we enjoyed it with our window view....
We definitely made the right choice when we ordered this dessert - oh my! Sinfully delicious!
Sigh. Beautiful weather? Historic home tour? Flan on The Pier? What a perfect, perfect day. In every way.
I'm so glad that you were there too.
xo,
Kim
It's cold today in Ohio and I have to say I'm really missing Florida. Thanks for all the great pictures.

The flan looks delicious!!! We have friends in Tampa and will probably be down there in February! I'll have to go back through your blog to look for things to visit :)) Your weather looks beautiful!

Cold and rainy in MA too and I am on my way to VT where it may SNOW tomorrow. Way too early for me. Anyway, thanks for the great tour and I never should have clicked on the menu link...now I am starved. The flan looks to die for, it is one of my favorite desserts, sometimes I have it for my birthday instead of cake.
Visit me sometime.

Hold on! I'm coming to Florida! LOL Really! I am. We'll be visiting my son and daughter-in-law in Port St. Lucie in December. Now that your pictures have reminded me of the beautiful sky and oceans, I can't wait! I've never seen the Tampa side. Maybe we'll make it this time.

Thanks Kim for taking us along with you. We're expecting a little snow today here in Michigan, so it was nice to see "warmth" again.
Blessings,

Yummy delights, both the dessert and the scenery. I loved the tour by the way, I felt as if I were walking with you seeing all the beautiful sights.

Goodness, don't ya just LOOOOVE Florida, Kim? Sure, it can get really hot but it's about as close to paradise as a person can get, I think. I've been living just "a stone's throw" from the Kenwood area you visited and the St. Petersburg Pier almost my entire life. We've boated many times in the waters right off this pier, since we live just minutes north of there. We've even docked our boat at The Pier to go in to eat and shop, which was lots of fun! Glad ya'll had a nice time visiting "sleepy St. Pete."

We are getting our exercise with all this walking! I'm so glad you took me to the Pier. I enjoyed the walk and the gorgeous scenery. But most of all the food was a work of art! ~Adrienne~

I'm trying to do a little catch up this evening, Kim. Have a busy day tomorrow. I hope to have time tomorrow evening to take a closer look at the homes. Your lunch sounds wonderful. I think food always tastes better outdoors!
Great photos!

Fresh air, the sun and sea and a walk on the pier - a girl can really work up an appetite! Interesting to see your pier; our pier in Huntington Beach (just across the country from you - lol!) has loads of surfers surfing alongside. But there is a tasty old-fashioned cafe - Ruby's - at the end, with a great view of the open water, like yours.
Your photos are especially beautiful today, Kim!

This was so much fun seeing the homes and your beautiful pictures of the Bay.
My Mom lived on Tampa Bay for many years. It was always a nice peaceful place to sit outside, just a few feet from their door.
But in all the years she lived there, I never went looking at houses in St. Pete.
So I really enjoyed your pictures.
