Remember Jennifer and her delightful fairy creations? Well, she generously sent me this lovely book, written by Bonnie Bailey...
Jennifer did the illustrations for the book! They are SO charming!
Thank you Jennifer for your sweet gift! You know that I will treasure it always!
Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday and thank you again for EVERYTHING.
I couldn't comment on your empty nest post. My fingers were clutching a kleenex!
Our job is to push our little chicks out of the nest~ but it is not easy. Of course it is also not easy when they come home... again & again =D
Thanks for sharing your happy things

Woohoooo! Now that's the motherlode of goodness! And you deserve it!

What lovely things you won! I'll bet it cheered you up a little. I missed your empty nest post, but still would like to comment.Speaking from experience,I can tell you, Shannon will come home again. It's the hardest time in the beginning, but little by little, it does get better and you will get to see her blossom. Just hang in there, she'll be back before you know it! Poor Maggie though, looks like she needs a good hug too! Double hugs all around then!

Hey, Kim
These are such pretty gifts...it's a thoughtful blog world, isn't it?
Your last post was so touching. I'm sure your girl will always come home...in every way. My little lady starts kindergarten in August, and I'm already having pangs. It's a bittersweet time.

Awwww . . . what precious, precious goodies for a precious, precious person. I adore the teapot and the book is awesome. I emailed you about the thank you card--what a lovely, sweet surprise. Do you ever receive a thank you card from someone that is so sweet you feel you need to send a thank you card back to them? That's how I felt. xoxo

You've received some truly lovely gifts.
I know how you and Maggie are feeling. I was there a couple of years ago when my son left for school. It's such a hard time, but it does become better.
Take care Kim.

I just read about your daughter going away to college. I understand what you and Maggie are going through. My daughter is also going to college this fall. It is bittersweet how the years fly by so fast yet I am so very proud of her. Sophie (our family dog) and I will be waiting patiently as well.
*Sigh* Where do the years go?

I love the pink and happy and sweet things! I just had to come over to Daisy Cottage this morning for my cottage fix, LOL! Your post about your college daughter...oh boy, my girls are entering 4th and 5th and THAT's about to kill me(they move "upstairs" at school and that's a milestone...snif, snif.....they grow so fast...I cannot even imagine college right now but I remember going off to college and being sooo excited but really missing my Mom so we always stayed in touch. Oh, if you have a minute stop by my blog...I've posted some pics of a sweet little cabin we stayed in in NC...you'll appreciate the quaintness and beauty! Have an awesome day!!!

You sure have received some wonderful things. That book is beautiful! People are just so nice. It's one of the best things about the internet...we get to 'meet' some wonderful, generous people we would not have ever known years ago.

Lovely!

Hi Kim!
Oh that empty bedroom of your post below looks very similar to the empty bedroom I have in my house. Same color walls, same color comforter, and the same sad looking puppy eyes that lay on it from time to time. There is also a little lonely calico cat in there too. It does get a little easier, until they come home for a visit and then have to leave again. I am on my second lonely year now and honestly, it's okay, it gets better!
And besides, you have lovely people sending you awesome gifts to keep you happy and feeling loved! You got some pretty cool things!
